I think the best approach would be to retcon H5 & 6. Have Rachael still alive. Bring Lindsay back (she was Rachael’s friend as we know), bring Tommy back. Maybe have those 3 and Jamie face the return of Michael once more.
In this case, you would have to explain Michael’s survival of the Meeker/Police onslaught. And where he has been all this time. Speaking of Meeker, having him return in a similar role as Brackett in Kills would be fitting.
I’ve always thought Jamie deserved better. Or a more thorough conclusion.
I think it’s time to pick a storyline and stick with it, and the Jamie storyline ran it’s course well before H6 IMO. I don’t want any more continuation of the H4-Resurrection story
Interesting. I thought the ending for Jamie in H6 was terrible. She was a great character, it was just not a good send off for her. But to be fair, I’m not a fan of H6 in any aspect.
I think there’s potential in continuing Jamie’s story at some point down the road.
I think this idea would be great already as is, I’d maybe explain Michael’s survival in a similar fashion to Halloween 5s intro, but cut the river part out, have him just disappear before they throw the dynamite in.
I’m definitely in the minority but It would be a pass for me. I couldn’t say I wouldn’t be excited to watch them continue it! Just that if up to me I’d prefer they do something else.
