Seeing the new Trick or Treat Studios H4 and H1 masks has me interested. The controversy about the ToTs 2018 does make me nervous about if they might mess up on one but it can’t be TOO bad, right? Anyways, they’re both $60 and because money is tight, I can only afford one. It’s a very tough decision as I am a fan of both movies. Which one should I order first? (P.S: I already have a ToTs H2 so I’m not desperately in need for a mask but it’s 2 years old so I need an upgrade.) 
its not the best H1 I’ve seen by plenty, but not bad.
If the mask fits the picture, that’s the best H4 I’ve seen. That’s my 2cents.
Since you have to pre-order it and won’t get your mask until September if you’re lucky. Why don’t you just save up some money and get a nice mask from an Indie artist? The mask pictured in tots catalog is not what you will receive. You’re going to wait 6 months for a mask that’s going to disappoint you. Don’t believe me? Then go ahead and pre-order one of those and find out the hard way.
I saw video footage of it and the H1 (look up The Shape Lurks channel) it looks really good, even irl. Also you sounded a little bit aggressive at the end there, but it’s all good, right?
I’m sure he means they take GREAT pictures of their masks almost too great. My tot h18 doesn’t look like the picture they used. They say it’s the exact mold from the movie, but none of them look like the movie haha. Even the rehauls can’t capture that look …the nose is off!
I saw one in person and unless they took extra special ridiculous care of it, it looks like the pic. There’s not too much to these masks. It’s pretty hard to f$&k it up. It’s painted flat white, has like 3 areas of shading and hair that is like the H2 but not too much hair like the H2. It looks just fine
It’s all good. I’m just being honest with you. I hate to see people waste their money. TOTS masks do not look anything like the pictures in their catalog.
I had the same problem. and did a thread earlier this week of the same question. I bought two of the H4. One for cosplay the other for just display. I asked others for their opinions and they went with the H4. If they said the H1 looked it was done better I would have went wit it. My choice would be the H4
Nice. If the the mask I’ve chosen (which is the H4) is crappier than expected, I can always repaint and rehair it. Which is easy because there’s not a lot to the mask
Since these masks are already showing up in stores. And quality control is an issue. I would go to find them in a store and get a H4. It seems to be the gem in the new catalog. You avoid a bad/deformed copy and the long wait.

He was at the HAUNTCon this past week where TOTS had a display of their current and upcoming products for this year. They were production copies, but not for sale yet.

If your a fan of both masks ans both movies then I say go with H4 and heres why…
If you can only buy one get the H4. If your diggin it awesome.
If you get tired of it cut the neck flap off, rip off the sideburns and you can repaint it and turn it into another H1
That wasn’t a store homie. HAuNTcon is a trade show where people who own stores or participate in trade shows go to buy masks that they will put in their stores or use in haunted houses in the future.
Hard choice, I ended up grabbing both. The H4 looks really good so I definitely wanted to snag that.
I’m like you…I like both H1 & h4 movies but I ended buying two H4 masks. Should have ordered one of each
