the only ones i dont care for (not counting h3) would be part 5 and 8. although i do love the h8 mask 
i haven’t read any of the reply comments here, I just wanted to say i love all the films other than resurection and the RZ’s…actually i havent even seen the 2nd RZ and dont plan on it.
1,2,3,4,5,6,7 are all awsome IMO
Hey, I’m a Halloween fan; I just support the first 3.
I think as bad as many think the Friday the 13th movies are, I would rather watch those over and over instead of watching anything after Halloween III. Halloween 4 and everything else following those are boring; except RZ’s Halloween II which I actually really liked so now that makes my entire point, pointless…

Don’t really care for The Phantom Menace
Didn’t like the TCM remake, could care less to see the prequel to it, and didn’t care for the Dawn of Dead remake either.
Doesn’t mean a damn thing about my fandom or devotion to the other films they spawned from.
I enjoyed every Halloween except for Rob Zombie’s films, so I guess I’m not really a “true myers fan.” either… 
I really wish I didn’t get all of my Halloween tattoos now. those should really be reserved for the true fans. Not someone like me, who, apparently, just enjoys some of the films…
but seriously, to say someone isn’t a true myers fan becauase he/she doesn’t enjoy EVERY installment is pretty ignorant. it’s like some sort of religion where everyone must think the exact same thing as you or they are shunned.

I know where you are coming from guys because I’m a huge Myers fan but there’s a couple movies that are a disgrace in my opinion! That doesn’t make me any less of a fan.
To be fair I think Ron came off different than he intended to, it’s very easy to do on the internet! I doubt that he meant the statement as literal as it was taken or that it was meant to be offensive.
I love how the topic has 7 threads. It’s safe to say we are all fans because we are on this boards like the nerds we all are. Just walk up to any hot female and tell them you post on a michael myers message board and see where that gets you…lol.
