I love it how Michael Myers fans hate Michael Myers movies

It just makes me laugh when us members, who are supposed to be fans of the Michael Myers franchise, throw down hard on some of the movies. I just cracks me up. Fans… I know that some of the films were not as good as others but it could be worse. There could be NO Michael Myers sequels at all. And for some of you guys that would probably not be a bad thing. I for one like to see the good points in the films. Whether it be the mask, a particular scene, or whatever. I guess I just try and look at the positive aspects of things. I am a Myers fan. 4LIFE :supz:

true that i like mm no matter what he looks like!!
but you’ll prolly get a post saying ‘’ id rather not see michael on the big screen cause it just ruins the franchise’’ or some post like that!
MM FAN $LIFE x2

marcus

well i only hate the really bad Michael Myers movies :stuck_out_tongue:

Very true…I like all the movies even if they need some work. All the Halloweens are your typical slasher/horror movie even if theres some cheese in between, it’s entertainment. But it would have been interesting to have seen Halloween as an anthology series.

I just H8 Halloween 8

Agreed Ron although with Resurrection and RZ’s H2…it was a bit difficult to do!

Still I see your point man, good post.

Ya know, Well said Ron, Sure there are things I like better in some movies than in others, But bottom line is, I really do like them all.

I like everyone of the myers films including zombie 2.

I hear where your coming from Ron!

amen brotha…i was literally gonna post this a while back…truely puzzling…

Star Wars fans hate some of the Star Wars movies too.

I just don’t really care for the rest past Halloween 3. (By that I mean H4-RZH2)

I enjoy them all, but i think the only ones that feel like they get Myers right is H1, H2 H20 and RZ H1 and H2.

I mean if you do not like all of the movies, or if you cannot find something about them that you like then you’re not really a true Myers fan. You’re just a fan of the movies you like. That’s cool.

agreed.

i HATE when people say RZ ‘‘isnt michael’’…man thats michael like u never seen him real raw an demented…haha its almost as if people think hes TOO fucked in tha head in RZs

A lot of members here really hate RZ’s H2. :open_mouth: I don’t see why. Of course it’s totally different compared to the original, but that makes it original in itself, just with the same killer. I mean, would you really take Romero, Nicholson and Ledger, and completely hate two of the Jokers because they weren’t the same as the first? I sure as hell wouldn’t. I embrace the different sides that they portray as one person. Romero was a prankster, Nicholson was a mobster, and Ledger was just insane. The original Halloween has a Michael that stalked, killed, and dissapeared. Rob’s Michael chases, bashes, and then hides. I think I may have completely went off track with what my original thinking train for this post was, but I don’t care. :stuck_out_tongue: The point is, we should enjoy the new side of Michael Myers, not hate it. Shouldn’t be afraid of change…

I love every Michael Myers, just not every movie he’s in.

I don’t care too much for the Halloween movies past H2 ('81)… I don’t think that makes me a phony Myers fan. So what I’m only a big fan of the original 2 movies… Just don’t like the direction they took the franchise after H2.
Besides, who are you to say someone is or isn’t a true fan? That group of people who you refer to as, “untrue Myers fans”, included me, and I didn’t appreciate it.

Aw clutch don’t be so offended. It’s okay if you hate the movies past H2. That’s your opinion. But how can one be a Myers fan if he does not like all of the Michael Myers characters? I found that each and every one of them had their own unique quality about them, and I was just happy to see he was still around.

There’s a difference between liking a movie, and liking the character in the movie.
