Hello to anyone who has seen fit to click the link! I am posting this to convey something I have had in my mind for quite a while now concerning the pullover mask Richard Brooker wore during the vast majority of Friday The 13th Part 3, and specifically concerning what Stan Winston was going for with his design.
Given the shape and size of certain structures of the mask in question, it seems to me as though he may have intended to recreate features of a skull in the most outward manner possible, if that makes any sense; taking forms that aren’t even visible in some cases due to the way the skull is ensconced in the neck, etc. and causing the surface of the mask to act as massive versions of those characteristics.
