If the new movie is as great as the original will the original sequels matter much to you anymore?
They’ve never really meant much to me anyways. I like H2 and H3 though…
They’re part of my childhood, for better or worse. I’ll always be watching all of them at least once a year.
Halloween, Halloween II and Halloween III are all on the same level. If the new one is just as good…that is fine.
I will never forget. Too much nostalgia.
Having grown up with the films, I’ll never forget about any of them. That said, I rarely watch any of the sequels, as it is. So, the new movie won’t really change anything for me. See, as much as I love the series and have thrown money at their various re-releases, I don’t actually think the sequels are very good lol
Halloween and Halloween 2 are the only ones I care for personally. I actually don’t mind them getting rid of Halloween 2… I’ve basically already accepted Halloween 2018 haha; just need to watch it. Regardless, the original Halloween is the best and we always have that.
It won’t be close and no.
It won’t make me forget about them, it’ll just make it more interesting when I decide to marathon. It’s like a Goosebumps novel, I’ll just pick whatever arch I’m feeling that day lol
No.
I’ve already dismissed everything after Halloween II. The real question for me is whether of not I will continue to watch Halloween II on Halloween night after the original or will I replace it w/ Halloween 2018?
Wt
NO I will not forget them. H2, H4 are everything too me. lol
I’ll always love h2 and from now on every year will just be a case of which one I’m more in the mood for. Hell if I’ve got time on halloween night I might just watch them both lol
Halloween 1-6 will always be my favorite timeline.
Nah. They are all still fun or memorable, even if it’s for the wrong reasons. And I am a mark for Halloween 2 so there’s that as well, lol.
I’ve never cared for any of them other than H1 and H2. I don’t even recognize the others.
Yep
I don’t usually watch past Halloween III.
True. I liked it as an adult much better than when I was a kid. I kept waiting for Mike to show up:) As odd as it sounds I keep this one separate in my mind from the franchise just based on its story.
No, because they are all some of my favorite films. Few have their problems, but still my favorite horror franchise. However, it does raise that question. Indeed.
