Im just going to pretend that movie didnt happen

Went on friday and saw it with my brothers, I am the biggest halloween fan they or ne of my friends knw. I was extremely disapointed for the most part and they liked it. Thats the problem the majority of the public who arent fans like us would probably like it cuz of the brutality, but the major fans will only like some but not all of it. I love rzs remake but this sequel im just going to pretend never happend.

yeah im with ya- the characters and the script were just absolutley lousy -crying, partying, say the f word, getting drunk, crying more, saying the f word- it was really immature and so unbelieveable- like who wrote the dialog? a very scattered RUSHED movie i feel.
i mean the real BRASS tax of this movie is the fact how BRUTAL michael is…
i must say those were some very angry kills- like over the top! :open_mouth: and of course its our hero-

but overall for me, very dissapointing. i was going to say my peice in my own post… and i have stayed away from every other one as far as commenting goes- so i will just leave it as this and not look back.
but just really bad in my opinion.
too bad for me- i was really looking forward to it.

I went with 15 people. 5 of us have been fans for ever and we liked it. The other 10 never seen halloween ever and they didn’t understand.

I’m a huge Halloween fan and enjoyed this movie, and not just because of the brutality. I loved the atmosphere, characters, ending, and Michael and Laurie’s visions. I even dug the white horse parts, which everybody seems to despise. Halloween: Resurrection remains to be the only film in the series I dislike.

Totally agree!

Seriously, people actually prefer Halloween 5 over Resurrection? Puuulease! I’d actually like to see a topic on this sometime, a debate over which is the worst film and why.

I prefer H5 over resurrection.

Why? Busta and Webcams vs Loomis and Jamie, thats why.

Busta all day everyday over Tina, Mikey and Spitz. Not to mention those ridiculous cops with the comedy noises everytime they had a scene. At least Michael gets bested by a grown man and not a little girl…heh :unamused:

i think majority of the people who see the film will like it for the most part weather it be average movie goers or hardcore fans, it will average out that majority of people like it.
i am a “major” Halloween fan and i liked it.

sorry fellas i cant get in on either film they both :vom:

Yeah, but did we really need Busta Rhymes karate kicking Michael Myers?

I mean even though it wasn’t great at least H5 had a point to the story. Resurrection didn’t even really have a point at all after Laurie was dead in the first 10 minutes.
