I also have disagree with the Myers not being scary. I’ve went as Michael 3 times in the past 4 years and every year people are really freaked out by it. But its not just the kids or teens getting scared there are a lot of adults who get freaked out just by me staring at them. But I get really into with decorating the house really creepy and playing a lot of creepy music. Every year it has gotten the job done and everyone loves it and is scared by it.
I always saw the remake the more terrifying Michael, I have done Jason Voorhees every year, but H2 09 hobo Michael Myers does interest me. Because I peak at 6 ft 6, I may give a go with with Hobo Michael Myers, as that Myers does stand out for me. But I may still go remake Jason again next year, as I am one piece short, the remake machete from DirtnapFX. But the remake Michael Myers from both films has really upped the anti in the Myers look
Well, as I noted in another post, I will be doing Myers for most Halloween events this year (already suited up once) including Trick or Treat time. But, there is an event I am voluteering at for kids in which the request was made NOT to be anything scary. Since I agree that Myers is still scary (when not confused with Freddy or Jason ), I will be donning an outfit that I made last year in order to have a theme with my family. It may not fit in here, but here’s a pic of what I will wear to this event:
Awesome Batsuit dude!!! Love it:)
I was Michael Myers in 2009 and 2011. But the costume was God awful both times because I had coveralls that didn’t fit and the DP 2006 mask (the only half decent one) that I touched up for Halloween '11. This year I got fitting coveralls and the TOTS mask. And more than likely I’ll be the only one with it because it’s not sold in stores where I live.
(Rock symbol only because I’ll be the best Myers where I live not because the TOTS mask isn’t in the stores here)
i was thinking of going as Lynda…TOTALLY!!
That’s what I’m going to be this year. I weathered a duster coat, have the hat, mask, pants, shirt/chest, and took a preliminary shot to test it out:
ive been michael for 4 years in a row now but this year in freddy krueger
I always become multiple characters each year. Aside from my regular Shape and Jason Voorhees costumes (I usually will do a couple masks each), and a character I made up that has a similar look to the Shadow Man from the 80’s twilight Zone episode of the same name and The Man in Black from Halloween 5 and 6, I bought a Nightowl King Halloween mask and am combining it with my farmer’s scythe and monk/Grim Reaper robe (a quality one, not the usual drug store special) for another character I created.
A good Shape mask with blacked out eyes still scares, but the best scares I’ve gotten out of one was when I put on a mask, black leather gloves, and coveralls, stuffed between my coveralls and regular clothes with newspaper and leaves, had hay and leaves sticking out of my sleeves, pant leg openings and neck, and just generally made myself out to look like a dummy (including the bad posture and crooked neck), sat myself in a chair near the walkway, and waited for people to walk by, they’d prod me like a dummy, make comments and such, and then I’d spring at them and always get them without fail.
