I finally got my daughters costume finished.
Well I cant say “I” did although it was a joint effort between my Step-mother and I. I consulted and she sewed
She also bought me a sewing machine to learn so I can do this sorta stuff myself. I guess it was her way of saying I was a picky, pain in the ass when it came to making sure I got as accurate as possible
All that’s left is to get a pair of Red hightop Converse.
I’m going to give it a go soon. I just have to learn it all as I have never sewn anything or even tried to work a sewing machine. I will make a few changes though but overall it shouldn’t be too hard … (says the guy who has never sewn)
Thanks guys
I’m really jazzed about this Halloween. I’m trying to get together a Myers costume to match.
Going to start learning how to sew, maybe even take free lessons at Joaan’s and maybe if members are interested in one I can make them. I do however need to change one thing to make it more accurate but that shouldn’t be an issue.
I just wonder how many people will see her on Halloween night and recognize who she is supposed to be …
… or you can make him up as little Michael in the same costume …
Remember that when she is looking in the mirror holding up the costume she see’s Michael as a little boy with the same costume on.
No she actually got me a good one and my Grandmother and Mom just stopped by and played around to show me a few things.
They said it’s a pretty good one. I saw them used on eBay for $200 but got this one for $40 and it’s damn near new. http://cgi.ebay.com/Singer-Sewing-Machine-Model-5825C-/270719280768
I need to get on the ball learning though. I didnt think I would get requests for these. At least not yet anyway
