Thought you’d enjoy this latest bust I’ve finished.
The head has direct lineage to the screen used movie mold and is extremely accurate to the prosthetics Derek Mears wore under the hockey mask ! It’s silicone and features acrylic eyes as well as hand punched human hair.
The sack mask was made by Teddy Braswell which I did repaint, as well as the jacket which was also repainted and weathered as I felt it was a tad too clean for my taste.
The hockey mask is the cherry on the cake without a doubt. It was made by non other than Mr Scott Stoddard, the artist behind Jason’s look in the remake ! I’m still in awe about displaying one of his work and couldn’t have dreamt of anything better for my bust !
Hands are silicone and were done (as usual) by Tony Campagna which I also repainted to match Jason’s hands and nails.
This one was a nightmare to make, making sure the machete holds well (and it does !), having the right body type, as well as doing this full wood dock base, it took many many many hours but I finally ended up with a result I like !
