I know that the combat boot of choice for the H1 costume is the boot pictured below.
My question is for those who have ordered a pair, do they ran small or large? I am normally a size 11 1/2, but these only come in full sizes. Would you recommend going 11 or 12?
Lastly, some vendors offer regular and wide versions of the boots, is there a huge difference between the two? If so, which is more screen accurate?

Definitely go smaller, these boots are made to have two pairs of wool socks on under them. I wear a size 13 shoe and I have these in a size 11 and they fit well.

Those boots in the picture have the wrong sole. The screen accurate boots had vibram soles. The only way to get those is to find boots from the 1960s. These are the soles you’re looking for.

Check army surplus stores around your area. They have them and you can try them on for the right fit. That’s where I got mine
Thanks again guys! I ended up snagging a vintage pair off of Ebay. They are not 100% like the ones man1978 posted, but I feel like they are close enough plus they are already weasthered 
They should be arriving on Monday. At that point I have all of the basic elements of my Michael costume and I’ll begin the weathering and tailoring process.
