… And I can not get over how much it feels like I’m watching a Halloween episode of Dawsons Creek with Myers as an insert.
I do feel like this was a good movie with the built in suspense but I just don’t like that myers is always standing out no matter what. In the original, the second and even RZ’s H1 Myers was PART of the shadows… Not placed so damn obviously.
The score itself was just far too light hearted for my tastes as well.
I AGREE, MYERS WAS ALWAYS IN THE SHADOWS NOT JUST STANDING OUT! BUT GOOD MOVIE THOUGH, I’LL GIVE IT THAT!! 
I like H20 because it gave official closure to the halloween series the way it was intended coming full circle.
H8 does not exist to me- that is only a “what if…” scenario. The series ended at H20
That is true. But i always though he died at the end of H2 after being burned to death. I also like how he didnt have any burns on his hands like 4-5-6 did…

both truly horrible and a dishonor to the HALLOWEEN franchise. I find most people are all over this movie with mad fanboy love foaming at the mouth cause Jamie Lee Curtis was back. I’m sorry the whole premise, wiping out The Return , The Revenge , and the CURSE was an insult to the fans that followed through the series.
Set aside Dawson Creek casts, Josh Harnett and LL cool J. This was just bascially showing casing horrible b rated up and coming bubble gum teens for that year. A flash in the pan , flavor of the month teens in the movie if you will. Myers was just a back story far as i’m concerned and it hurt the movie. Sound track was horrible.
It was truly a mess. The follow up and sequel to the mess “Resurrection” only sealed the deal on my findings these 2 movies were nothing but POP movies with POP stars and not a true hardcore movie for the fans like it should have been.
H20 was a cool flick, and yes it did herald the return of Laurie Strode. As far as an episode of Dawson’s creek, well that’s kind of funny. You must have liked it though, you watched it three times. I could never watch a movie I hated THREE TIMES. I don’t know why some members have to just bash the hell out of certain sequels that they do not like. I did not care for part 5 or the RZ sequels but I’m not up on my soap box preaching how bad they were to everyone. The fact is that fans have their favorite sequels. Just because someone doesn’t like a certain sequel doesn’t mean the whole world agrees with you. I think it would be more productive as a fan to talk about the films you do like, and not start a thread intent on bashing a film you don’t like. Remember all of the fans that like that particular film are gonna jump in there and defend it, and then a pissing contest ensues. I know the MODS do not want that going on here. Let’s keep it positive guys. Come on!

I watched it three times to almost analyze the film since I had not seen it in almost 5 years and there was some talk of it as being a good sequel… So I had to make up my own mind
Since when did it become taboo to say what movies you did or did not like and explain for what reason? Last i checked this is a forum. I guess that’s your opinion which you are perfectly entitled too and i respect that. However so is everyone else entitled to their opinion.I don’t see nothing negative about that or in this thread.

Open forum or not there is a thing called tact. Some people just do not have any. We as fans should show each other respect. Some folks just can’t do that…watch.

Listen don’t use me as your example just because you disagree with whats posted. You mentioned pissing contests in your previous post. I’m not the one seating back trying humble people as if they did something wrong and trying to make examples of them and acting I’m above them like you are. Expressions of opinion is all this is. There is no malice or intent. It’s a dam forum that discusses Michael Myers for crying out loud, “STOP” trying to make it out of something it that isn’t.I think you should save the criticism for the critics and just stop back seat modding. There comes a point of saying what you feel to the point of crossing the line blow stuff out of proportion and force your opinions on people by giving bossy down talking on forum etiquette to others,especially when no one has broken any rules. H20 was distasteful IMO.I gave my reasons why in a thread that to me is not negative at all. Now are you still going continue this pointless crossing guard crusade routine? Or do you think cause you made a fan movie and have more posts and a bunch of masks you are above others and are entitled to forum brow beat people? It’s a perfectly honest question.
and the fact he had healthy eyes, thats the thing that bothered me the most about H20.

I couldn’t agree more. I liked the entire film from stem to stern. It was wonderfully shot, and the lighting was superb. I did kind of flinch at the fact that Michael had suddenly grown a new set of peepers, but what the hey, it’s a movie, and he is supposed to be evil on two legs. So I guess evil has the ability to grow eyes Other than that it was a fun film. I really liked the subtle homage to psycho with Janet Leigh and the Psycho car. As far as the score goes, John Ottman was a bit miffed because the producers dicked around with the original score that John had done. Ottman is a great film composer. Anyhow I can see why there are folks who don’t care for the film, but there are a slew of people who liked it a lot. I’m sorry if I came across as being miffed about folks bashing the film. I realize people like to voice their opinions and sometimes vent. And our boy Infamous really let me have it with both barrels. Damn dude. That shat cracked me up. Dude even though I have made 12 films, and own a ton of masks, that has nothing to do with anything…nothing. It’s all good though. 
infamous i understand where you stand but lighten up a lil. we are all supposed to be fans and support each other on here. i stay on h30 productions more bc there is less bashing each other over there. i agree with sandman. to much negativity. h20 was not my favorite. for me myers has never ended bc moustapha said in an interview before he died that he would never let them kill michael.
It’s all good i didn’t say i disagreed with him or his opinion of H20 - in fact i agree on his statement with lighting and what not but i didn’t agree he said this thread was negative, nor did i agree on his back seat modish behavior. Just my 2 cents. As i said it’s all good

And i must say this isn’t the only thread I’ve noticed you telling people what to do and how to do it. There’s a fine line between being polite and being pushy.
