like to start out by saying I’m not a big fan of the new Blumhouse Halloweens. I’m a old school Myers guy. Gotta have my H1 78 and H2 81. That’s the way I roll. But since the new stuff starting coming out you know it’s something to get excited about. Especially when your life isn’t all that great and boring as hell. Lol me me!! So yeah it’s brings some joy. The movie may very well suck but at least I got to get a little excited with all the news and what not. Thought this might be a neat little post to put up. Have a awesome days killers.
I agree, I liked H40 and Kills for the most part, but with what I’ve been hearing with ends I’m worried but it defiantly gives me something to look forward to anytime I get a chance to see a new Halloween on the big screen.
Im happy that another fan can put hatred or displeasure aside and still see it for what it is…a michael myers movie…i still have hope man…believe in the boogeyman and he may return!!!
For the crappiness of “The message” I enjoyed the flashback scene and it gives me an excuse to dress up in full 78 gear to watch the film at the cinema
I’m not a fan of these new movies either, but as a Halloween fan, it’s just nice to see the series getting some sort of attention with all the new merchandise in particular. I feel the same way about the new Scream film, I’m a fan of that series too, and though I didn’t like the new film, I’m just glad to see these long dormant franchises getting some attention and merchandise. I have to tell you, as a fan, it’s so cool to walk into a store, and see t-shirts, Neca figures, masks, etc. of your favorite franchises, something we haven’t seen in a very long time.
I don’t mind 2018 but it didn’t impress me, Kills started really good but got very nonsensical, especially with every side character basically making the worst possible choices ever (Randy from Scream would have a blast commenting this movie )
Still, what I think most movies do great (Kills a bit more) is giving us one of the best Myers ever.
I dunno if Ends will be a good movie, especially after Kills being somewhat messy, but I’m so ready to see the Shape on the big screen again.
