Ken Hertlein/Dick Warlock Signature Mask Thread

It’s great to see you around again, Cade. Seems like I haven’t seen you on here in ages! I did work very hard on this thread, but it makes it all worth it when I read comments like yours. I’m glad that you found the thread enjoyable, bro!

Frankie, I just had to pop in here again and comment on your avatar.
That shot is pure H1 man…never understood why many believe the KHDW is strictly an H2 mask when it’s capable of nailing both H1/H2 looks. :sunglasses:

Oh Congratulations to you Frankie on the best H2 mask score you could ever own!! It’s a beauty!!

Hey thanks, Erik! That’s actually an SLE, believe it or not. :sunglasses:

You rock, Cade! Thanks, buddy!

I just had to comment as well Frankie that your commitment to this hobby is nothing short of phenomenal.
To start a thread such as this, and the time and research its taken you to make this thread into a living, breathing, everlasting thing amazes me brother.
Your an asset to this board in so many ways. You’ve accomplished what many only dream of doing with this, and Im sure its only a start. Congrats! :drinkers:

Wow - I don’t know what to say! Thanks a million, dude. I’m happy that the thread is appreciated and that the work put in wasn’t for nothing.
Other replicas are deserving of such a thread. I’d like to see Paul (50-oNe-50) craft a thread similar to this for the NMM78. :bulb:
Thanks again for the kind words, bro. Truly made my Easter reading that. :sunglasses:

If Paul doesn’t want to start a thread pertaining to the NMM78’s rich history, I’ll take a stab at it(no pun intended)
I highly doubt it would turn out to be as epic/organized as this one apparently is. I agree with Don, what you’ve done is amazing Frankie, very few if any would really take the time out of their day(s)to do something like this. To many these old school Myers are sadly a thing of the past.

Go for it, Erik!

I second that!

It would also be quite interesting to see such a thread pertaining to the Second Stab.

AMAZING thread, Frankie. I just read the whole thing start to finish and wow. Extremely informative for guys like myself who missed the initial run. Keep threads like this coming.

Hey thanks, Blue! I’m happy that the thread was informative for you, man.
A sketch I did of my beloved #4:

Cool sketch, Frankie. :drinkers:

Maybe before you part ways with your SLE you could do a shoot with it and your #4 together? I’d love to see the size difference.

Also, have you considered adding the SLE’S to this thread and inviting owners to post their copies? Might pump some blood back into the thread.

And I hope someone’s working on a 4 stamp thread. Actually it would be cool if D and the mods considered adding a sub section to General Discussion and called it the “Hall of Mask Fame” or something. It could consist of stickied, open threads like this one and all of the big hitters could get their time in the spotlight. Reading the history of these masks is beyond cool and having all of the owners of a particular copy chime in and share their pics is even cooler. The 2k, the 75k, the Shat, the H78, etc. All of 'em have helped to define the hobby and it would be cool to see them represented and recorded.

Thanks, bro, and I sure can snap a few pictures for you! I took a few pictures of the masks side-by-side some time back, but wasn’t satisfied with how the pictures turned out. I’d be more than happy to include the SLE in this post! That’s a great idea!

Funny you mention the Hall of Fame idea. A couple months ago, I was talking to Kaizu or Benny (can’t remember who) about doing something very similar. I envisioned calling it the ‘Myers Mask Hall of Fear’. I envisioned a gallery section where each inductee would have an album of several pictures and a unique description, with each mask’s complete backstory.

Good stuff! :drinkers:

That would be incredible guys  Quite a task but well warranted imo!

The initial post has been updated with all of the KH SLE copies that I’m aware of. The SLE Tramer that James did for Matt L. is a bit of a mystery to me. I sent a PM to Matt with the hope that he can provide some information pertaining to that particular copy. I will update the initial post with whatever he is able to provide.

Thank you, Frankie!

You’re welcome, T! Happy Birthday, bro!

Much appreciated, Frankie!

Excellent additions, Frankie! I’ve thought about nabbing an SLE but I just can’t get past the size. I’m not a fan of smaller masks, even as displays. Some gorgeous copies out there though.
