Hey all,

I find it interesting how despite the masks being the same, eye cuts and paintwork can really make a difference. Both masks are stuffed the same, but I want to show how even though these are both KHU, one definitely looks like it has more of a warlock stretch and look while the other looks more like a Kirk.

The left KHU (P7) looks like it has more of a Dick Warlock stretch to it

The right KHU (P6) looks more like a Kirk.

What do you all think?

This is what people mean when they say eyecuts make or break a mask. In your case it doesn’t mean your mask isn’t accurate, just the eyecuts completely changed the look. Pretty neat!

I have to say my own experience with this mask, given it’s proper thickness, that even a millimeter difference on a X,Y, Z axis in movement of the latex can make the biggest difference. IMO, the sculpt is as perfect as it gets and I’m of the belief that it’s nearly impossible to achieve the same look twice unless it’s fitted on a firm and fixed sculpt of some sort.

Yep! I was stunned to see it has more of a worn look! I think it’s very interesting what eye cuts can do
