Here are some ‘prototype’ pictures of the NEW ‘Ken Hertlein SLE’ H2 mask. It honestly doesn’t get any closer than this folks.
When all of this started WAYYYYY back, it was in the form of an H1 mask that quickly became known as the ‘RARE’. Shortly thereafter, Ken joined forces with Dick Warlock to create the infamous ‘Dick Warlock Signature Mask’, which has become known simply as the DW/KH. This mask was, and still is today considered by most to be the BEST H2 out there. Between Ken’s amazing talent as an Artist, and the fact that he worked closely with Dick, and the ‘Hero’ mask, the DW/KH remains one of the ‘Holy Grails’ of H2 Myers masks.
Well, as the old saying goes; ‘Third times the charm’. Re-sculpting this piece from TOP to BOTTOM, studying MANY pictures of the 75 Kirk, The ‘Hero’ mask, along with film ‘stills’, and ‘screen caps’, Ken has truly produced, IMHO, the BEST H2 replica EVER. PERIOD. For those that will be getting this beautiful piece of art, you WON’T be dissapointed.
At this time Ken has the masks painted,and is currently finishing up with the hairwork, which is very time-consuming, but worth every minute.

Ken did an incredible job on the sculpt. My only critique is that the ears appear to be slightly “off” and the hairline could possibly be moved somewhat forward. Critiques aside, H2 mask or not, I believe this mask too would make a whicked H1 mask if worn by the right person.

I’d like to have one, but since there are only six, odds are that the owners will never sell theirs and the price would be too much for me anyway! Great Mask!!
