Latex displayed on fiberglass mannequin...Danger?

I have a quick question.I have a latex mask and chest/back and hands i just put on a top quality fiberglass mannequin.I believe i read on here a while back that is not good for latex and fiberglass to be in contact…
should i clothe the mannequin and put a winter hat over its head then put the latex mask and body parts over it?Thanks guys

I don’t think it’s harmful if a mask comes in contact with a mannequin. After all, mannequins are always painted. It wouldn’t be raw fiberglass.

slasher75 you are the 67th caller!! .I was waiting for someones input after 67 views!
Yeah that makes sense as it is painted,I could of sworn i read somewhere that over time the latex absorbs the fiberglass and breaks it down slowly.
Thanks man,i just didnt want to take it apart again and redress it cause it looks sooo sweet.(lazy sunday! )

I’m not sure why no one else wanted to help you out with your question. Sometimes I think people on here are very selfish and self centered.

Glad I could help.

Take care man.

Hmmm, i’ve never heard of the fiberglass issue, but better safe than sorry untill you find out for sure. Put a full ski mask over you manequinn.
