this is what it looks like at the moment, I still need to weather the coveralls, I have also ordered Handiboystudios knife wielder hands and I’m waiting for the tots 78 knife.
I finally found red kaps in the right size, unfortunately they are charcoal and not spruce green, I might dye them when I find the right dye, has anyone here dyed them from charcoal to green?
It looks really great so far even without the new hands. The coveralls look good in the 2nd pic they dont look too dark.
It helps if you lighten them in the wash with bleach alittle before you dye, because the grey is darker than the green.
You want a lighter shade of green fabric dye, if you use dark green it will darken the grey making them closer to black.
I recommend RIT DYEMORE they have one called Peacock green I think is your best bet. Its a lighter shade of green
so it will be a perfect blend of green/grey. The grey for the dark tones , green for the undertones.
They will come out a darker shade of green because your starting fabric is dark already.
looks awesome man! Quick question. I am going to attempt to do a mannequin for the first time. I am actually going to start working on it this week. What brand are your coveralls? They look great!
