Repairing a tots rob zombie nightmare mask that had the hair ripped off by a dog. What brand of liquid latex works best for applying new hair?
you should get some tacky glue it is the best for hair
Liquid latex isn’t really a good hair glue as it’s too runny. If you want an easy fix rubber cement may be fine, but if it heats up in the summer or whatnot it loosens up. Pro’s Aide may be ok, but is not easy to apply due to its’ liquid nature (though better than liquid latex). There’s more specific craft glues that bond to latex-rubber, but for the life of me I cannot recall which ones work best (as you want something that will bond well, won’t cause harm to latex over time, and will not have issues with heat, humidity, cold, or moisture).
I’ve seen a lot of masks that have had issues with the hair de-bonding over the years that used different glues for hair bonding, but most are older masks before refinement in the mask making community, so there are some craft glues that work better than others.
Sorry I couldn’t be of better help.
Rubber cement up until the hairline then Tacky glue for the hairline…
