I know his character was very minor in H78 and a little bit more in HK… but I actually loved this character. I like how he admitted that he never made it into the Myers houses as a kid and lied that he did, but now as an adult he finally ended up inside the Myers house. I also love the fact that he admitted to busting Tommy’s ball when they where kids, but now they’re best friends.
One thing though: When Tommy is telling the story in the bar and he say’s Lonnie had a face-to-face encounter with Myers (flash back scene) which was cool, but what about the other little kid who ran into Myers at the schoolyard? he also had a face-to-face encounter with Myers and survived…Maybe they should bring him back next time
I agree, incredible actor. That scene when they find Lindsey in the park, the look of terror in his eyes and his reaction as a whole, shaking and trembling when they find the bodies of those he met earlier, displayed in typical Myers fashion. Followed by when he sees Marion. That was chilling.

Yes, thank you. I said the same thing. I liked Lonnie better than, Marion, Lyndsay, Brackett, and Tommy. From a character that was in the original for a minor role, Lonnie turned out to the best of the bunch in HK.
Lonnie Elam’s friend was not the only character from the original “Halloween” who was traumatized by Michael, and who should have also been at the bar in KILLS.
Andrew Van Der Klok, Lynda’s little brother, should have been leading the mob right up front with Tommy.
Remember, Lynda tried to get out of haveing to take her little brother trick or treating that night. Either way, exactly when she met up with Bob is not known.
I’am sure when Lynda’s parents had to tell him the bad news about his sisters murder, he was probably went into shock and never recovered from it.
I think it would’ve made more sense to go with Richie instead of Lonnie, since Richie is the only one of those two to encounter Michael in the original.
