After decorating the house for Halloween I really want a life size Michael Myers I see some of you have. I think it would be badass to stick him outside on halloween day with a fog machine as well for all the neighborhood to see… I have seen the spirit Halloween one and I’m not a fan. I haven’t seen the Halloween city one in person because my store didn’t have it so that may be a option for a Halloween decoration but I’d like a better one to not only have on Halloween day but one to add next to my mm’s collection. I do like the Halloween 2 one from tots that I can find on eBay but I’d really want to put a knife in its hand as that one doesn’t come with one. Anyone have any links or no of any good ones to watch out for under $600? I know at this point i may not be able to find one before this Halloween but I’d still like to get one even if it’s after Halloween and have it for next year… I’m also curious about maybe making my own but idk the first thing to do so if anyone knows of a video or anything on how to make one that would be cool to. I’m just looking for any ideas/help or even pictures of some of the users on here that have own one so I can get one to bring home to my house one day soon! Thanks
I like this one a lot but of course it’s sold out. https://www.trickortreatstudios.com/halloween-ii-animated-prop.html BY THE WAY IS THERE ANY PICTURES OF THE TOTS 2018 Michael life size? There’s no photo on there website
You could just buy a mannequin
Do what I’m doing. Buy the coveralls, boots, knife, under shirt, and mask. Collectively, those should run you around $200.
Then get a male mannequin from amazon or ebay that fits the pose you like. This is the one I’m gonna use: https://www.amazon.com/Giantex-Mannequin-Make-up-Manikin-Realistic/dp/B01N6K1FHI/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1539136759&sr=8-6&keywords=male+mannequin
You could always dirty up the hands and neck or paint them. Everything else will be covered by the outfit.
That’s a life sized Michael display using all authentic materials, for ~$250-$350 depending on the stuff you choose for yours.
I think I will go the route of doing my own. That mannequin looks perfect. It’s not a big deal but would wonder how you would get him to grip the hands around a knife even without a knife though I’d be saving a lot just doing good be myself and I can make it look the way I want. On your project Arkham have you already started working on your myers or are you in the process of still buying everything? I like the idea of just getting the mannequin and doing it myself it’s cool to also tell people that you made it yourself! Just need to look into making sure the mask would fit but I guess if the head on the statue is smaller that’s good because you would just stuff it to make it fit right? If I find out that this is a fairly easy project like it sounds I might just order a mannequin probably that same one and give it a go as I’d like to do it before Halloween if possible. Dirtying up the hands Should be not to hard of a task I guess I’m just wondering mainly on how to give Michael a knife without the knife being attatched to the hand we’re it looks like he’s not actually holding it. I appreciate the replies and you both have me thinking this might be the best way to go seems like a fun project
Actually after reading some it sounds like this does hold items in the hand
Main reasons to do your own:
- Quality and authenticity is much greater than pre-made.
- Price (a really well made one is going to be more expensive than you just doing your own)
- If you wear similar sized clothing, you can use everything you make as your own costume, but then display it on the mannequin.
Just made sense to me. As for holding items, there’s always velcro or something along those lines.
I definitely agree with everyone here. Make your own, it’s a ton of fun, and will always be more accurate than any I’ve seen in stores!!

It’s not full size prop but 1/2 scale…came out pretty decent still working on it however.
Looks really good. First one I’ve seen with the new mask. Nice!
