oh shit!Not that thing again.

My display with the lights on

Am I the only one who thinks this looks like Shemp from the 3 Stooges?

It does look tons better.

Looks good now, at least you took something bad and made some thing good out of it, nice job.

Hi

I’ve seen this mask on ebay too and I also thought it’s big deal. Great mask - good price. But what you see is’nt what you get sadly.
Look - they still offer this mask with this preview-pic of an well done Maniac:

Before I bought one I wrote them and they sent me another pic of the “Realistic-Michael-Myers-Mask”. Here is the pathetic reality.
Of course - I never bought one:

So be warned to buy from them without any proof. :open_mouth:

not bad at all for your first time spiderdude. i fell for the same recast gimmick 2 years ago. i ended up rehairing/repainting mine aswell. i would hair it then a week later tear it all off and hair it again just for practice. i did that with my 97 don post as well. ive haired each of them at least 3 times.
as i said for your first time you did a good job, but if i may give alittle constuctive criticism, it appears you did the fold over method and you have your hair line abit too low, if it was raised just abit showing more forehead it would really look splended. keep up the nice work :drinkers:

Thanks for the comments i appreciate all the help i can get but unfortunately i had to have the hair line that low to cover the glue line from where they stuck that rat type thing…Think im guna do the shading darker and maybe apply some wet look gel and hair spray to get some height of the hair, its looking a bit like cotton candy…What did you use for your shading ?..cheers

Great job, but yeah just raise the hair-line and it’ll look fine!

i got one of those a long time ago thinkin it was a manic and i opened the box and i was like wtf

Your right blake it does look like shemp… Dean

Yea, I bought the same one thinkin it was something else. But heres what I did with mine if your interested.

I still need to do something with the hair though.

you know trancas take really good quality mask listings off when they are legitimit mask but yet allow something like this to happen. why doesnt someone report them ? its not fair to buyers who spend there hard earned money on a mask that they believe is a good quality mask and recieve a really bad recast that looks completely different from the mask advertised for sale and its just not fair. but yet they wanna bother people who sell a mask with good intentions. and no offense to those of you who have purchased one of these mask, but you have to admit thats not what you would have purchased if the mask advertised was the one you recieved.sorry if i offended anyone but these are just my thoughts. if im wrong please correct me. thanks and have a Merry Christmas

I totaly agree, they should be stopped. Im just glad i got some money back, but must admit im having fun playing around with the look of the mask…I read the coments about the hair line on my first attempt, what do you guys think about Hair version 2 ??? I know their is a long way to go with shading etc, but i think it’s coming along nice now. Not sure if i should try and fill then blend in the marks from the old hair or turn them into battle scars with blood etc ???

Dude, that looks great (compared to what it used to be)!! Regarding the marks left behind by the re-hairs, i say just leave them. Looks nice as it is imo.

I had a go at some shading but think i went a little mad ??? Be honest as im prepared to keep on going until i get it as good as can be…Thanks for all the advice guys

WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE THE HAIRLINE COULD MAKE . IT LOOKS ALOT BETTER I WOULD ASK SOMEONE FOR A WAY TO GET THE GLUE OFF THE FOREHEAD BEFORE YOU TRY TO FILL IT. BUT MASK LOOKS LIKE IT STARTING TO TAKE SHAPE. GOOD WORK MAN. KEEP POSTING PROGRESS PICS

The glue marks are actualy holes, where the old hair tore at the rubber.

WOW THAT SUCKS IT STILL LOOKS BETTER IN EVERYWAY POSSIBLE. DOESN’T EVEN LOOK LIKE THE SAME MASK ANYMORE. HEY POST SOME PICS OF YOUR CINEMA SECRETS RESSURECTED MASKS
