I’ve padded out plenty of masks over the years as I have a bit of a small head. I will be getting a blank shortly that will likely be large on me. It is a thin pull and should measure around 24". I would like to see if I can reduce the size, but I’ve never tried this. My thought was to cut a small section from the back, then seal the edges back together using something like cheesecloth and liquid latex. Has anyone ever done this? I know how I need to shape the cut. I’m just curious if this will work.
Nick has done it here

Your idea would work. A membrane and liquid latex will do the job. But the face will still be just as large though. We need these damn artists to start making smaller versions for those of us with smaller size heads. Not everyone has a melon head.
I’ve noticed this. The original hero that nick and dick wore was a small mask and it either stretched down or stretched out according to each head. Mask was probably 23.5. “To me”, when I see a bigger mask it just doesn’t look exactly right because it’s suppose to be tight to get the look. I’ve see a good looking Myers mask not look like “Myers” because of the size. Not sure if that makes sense. We all want a good fitting mask. The hero wasn’t a good fitting mask
Damn right!

I think a good H2 mask would just be a smaller made H1 mask that would stretch. Damn Melon heads!! Lol seeing the new masks next to the h18 was like woah! It’s staggeringly small compared to just about every other mask with the exception of the Tramer
