This is actually what was I thinking. I think a nice sized group of us should go to his table and voice ourselves (in a reasonable, mature manner of course). Seriously we should do it and I’m all for it. We can protest on here all we want but this is our real chance to say something.
Look guys, I know this is shocking coming from me, but could we please keep this civil and non-violent. I do not want this thread to get locked, this is a great opportunity to personally voice ourselves the “man himself”. I am dead serious about this.
You need to ask him why they made H2, and why the hell can’t they get the footage Billy Kirkus has and release it to the fans in some kind of super-duper-end-all-be-all version of Halloween on Blu-ray!!!
I met him at the 30th convention, and he seemed like a very approachable guy. He was nice enough to chat to the fans and answer questions…
Oh yeah, and the whole mask thing, they need to get over it already…
I was thinking of suing for false advertising the mass-produced masks quoted as “just like the movie” or “from the movie mold!” when in fact it doesn’t look like the movie and there was no movie mold just like they would want to sue us for making a good god-damn replica of the hero. I’m pumped now, Let’s do this
Curtis, I agree and that’s what I would aim for, is a mature confrontation.
That had actually crossed my mind. I could dress in costume and stand in front of his table and imprint the image of a well made mask in his mind. I’d love to see if he says anything about an indie mask if I took one.
SWEET! I’m glad I still have a few months to plan this trip. I’m in Ohio, so I’m going to need some time to think this through. Keep me posted on this Matt. I think assembling a group to respectfully protest this issue could have a major impact on the way things are in the future. Hopefully a positive impact…
He already knows what well made masks look like. He owns some SSN stuff from what I have heard, but it wouldn’t hurt to reiterate. If he ask you who made the mask because he would like to have them make him one. I wouldn’t trust that.
