Mask abbreviation meanings NAG, KH/DW, etc..

:pumpkin: ok, im not sure if this is already on the forum ,if so i havent seen it. if not , i suggest making a Sticky thread / Announcement that stays at the top of the page explaining what all the initials and abbreviations mean for noobs like me… i know some of them, like NO is Nightowl, MCS is Masket Case Studios, DW is Dick Warlock etc… i believe this would be an extremely useful tool / guide / legend to use when buying masks (especially for people who just got into it and are still learning the studios and artists) maybe even have an artist section with what studios they have worked for, made masks for and are working for now… a company section with the name of every mask that they produced and the year if possible… just some thoughts, i know would benefit the readers here… :myers:

I made a topic here precisely regarding this. Unfortunately, I doubt it’s complete, so the thread is always open to suggestions regarding more terms.

awesome… thanks a million.

The page is gone or says "can’t be found :frowning:

We had a Spam problem a few months back. I think it got deleted during then.

Wow, that sucks. Cause I remember reading it trying to learn the abbreviations before I started collecting. :frowning: well whoever knows the abbreviations if they can post them it’d be much appreciated! :slight_smile:

Well then do it again Davy! Come on man, you know you want to :smiley: :wink:

Come to think of it, a lot of cool stuff got deleted then :confused:

I was wondering what happened to that page :confused:
I noticed long ago the pics of members disappeared too :frowning:

Well, I’m bored at work today so I’m going to give this a shot and get some stuff started :smiley:

On a side note, what does MDK stand for? I believe it’s an abbreviation of an artist but not sure who?

Jake

Lol, thanks Jake! I knew the MMK was movie mold, for some reason I always mistakenly say movie mask in my head no matter knowing it’s not actually called that

I know we’re doing acronyms here but these abbreviations show up on a daily basis so…

Benn7 = Benny Hartke

Nik = Nikos Dresios owner of NAG, not to be confused with Owner of Handiboy studios’ Nick Mulpagano

Shat = Shatner, not to be confused with the 98/99 Shatner

MM = MICHAEL MYERS

75K?

NAG “75 Kirk” mask. It’s a Kirk mask commonly used in conversions created by Nik Dresios of NAG. He created it by clay pressing a Don Post 1975 Captain Kirk mask for the facial features, and then sculpted the rest from there.

Thanks big time! This is just what I needed.
