I ordered a mask from a maker and was told it would be here well before Halloween. Well its not here yet and I am a little nervous about having nothing for the big day! My question to you guys is what should I do? Should I consider buying another real nice mask and if I did where could I get one that will be here in time? Or should I go with one of the $60 myers masks that are at the local store in case it does not show up (which will sort of suck as I have coveralls and a knife that match the original Halloween movie)?
First of all ask the maker if it’s sent.
Ask for a tracking number.
Some makers have their stuff reach the customer right on the big day.
Did that. Said it would send out at the end of last week which was yesterday and that I would be contacted when he was sending it. He has been pretty cool so far so I am just wondering if I should get a backup just in case it does not show up!!

I know I do. Just getting anxious to have a mask is all. lol. I don’t have much patience. lol. Might need some medication for that.
Simple really. If you were told it would be sent by the end of the week, you have every right to inquire again since you were not contacted as promised. Tell the maker you need to know if his end of the deal will be upheld; otherwise you need to make alternate arrangments.
If you purchased your mask from a mask maker on the board and you were promised it would be here by Halloween, then I don 't think you have anything to worry about. The mask makers here are very honest people and they wouldn’t lie to you. You still have 6 days until Halloween… That’s nearly a week bro. I’m sure your mask will show up by Saturday. PATIENCE friend!

I mean, even if your other mask does show up I"m pretty sure you could sell this mask quick on ebay or here.
The sad thing is there has been quite a few makers on this board who have dissappeared in the past…

I have seen many people promised masks for the big day to only be sitting there on halloween with nothing to wear.Alot of mask makers are great people and true to their word.There was alot of people that would have vouched for cszmajlo.I ordered a blank from him last xmas.It was actually the day before xmas.He promised to ship it out the day after xmas.Well Im sitting here now nearly xmas time again with no blank or refund.This is just one example.Be very careful who you trust.That is one of my downfalls I am to trusting of everyone.I truly hopre you get what you are suppose toI would contact him again to make sure it got out…Always insist on tracking.If you dont he can say he shipped it and it must have been lost by shipping company…Not saying thats going on here ,just always better to be safe than sorry.
I really don’t want to say because he seems like a good guy and he has a pretty good rep from what I have read. And they are one of the sellers in the classifieds topic called, List of places to buy masks. I believe I will get it. I was simply wondering if I should buy a backup just in case.
I mean DeathClutch is right, patience is another big thing in buying something on the internet. But if you like feel unlucky, just get yourself like a nice Maniac on the board, there are alot of masks. And anyways, who is the maker? I’m trying to help you man. And your a lucky guy, I didn’t get a mask this whole year

Yeah, like Josh Russell for instance; that guy’s been a pillar of honesty. Seriously, you have every right to contact them with your concerns. My advice to you would be to not let things like this slide. If they gave you a ship date and didn’t follow through or even contact you then they are in the wrong . . . period.
