I am sorry if this is deemed a waste of time but here is the item that seems to be getting a whole load of interest…Thing is:
1- it was MY old Kreation X Michael with poor paint and hair. (it’t medium thickness)
2 - I have repeatedly tried to email him to ASK POLITELY to change the description FROM “RARE 78 NIGHTMARE MAN, MICHAEL MYERS MASK,THE SHAPE,HALLOWEEN REPLICA MASK” to tell people that it was a KREATION x Michael that I ripped all the hair off and I repainted…
3- I asked him to put in the description that Me- Kevin from the UK sent him the mask as a project and he finished it. But he has not done any of these things claiming his english is bad…but when he was emailing me through the ebay transaction his Engish was OK!!!So now there are so many people bidding on this, not knowning what they are going to get. That is all.
I know that Ebay is for buying and selling- trust me I know, but I thought that being honest was also a big thing in this Myers community whether on the bay or on here - right???
HERE is a pic of what it looked like in MY HOUSE about 10 months ago:
All I wanted to do was let you know the story behind the mask and to let whoever wins know what it started as
Thank you and whoever wins - I do hope it warrants spending you spending over $400!!!
After reading that item description, I don’t see how the buyer couldn’t be confused as to what mask it actually is. First I thought it was a NO NMM78 based on the listing title, then I thought it was a converted limited edition BMM Tiberius Kirk after reading the description.
That’s one of my ‘Shadow’ masks I sculpted that Mike changed the name to MichaeL when I sold him the mold many years ago. An earlier pull as its before he retooled it. Neat to see it. No way in hell those bids at $500 are legit though, it looks alright but it doesn’t look like a $500 mask.
Rotten Apples…Lol. I should have kept it and finished it myself when I could…Now I know it’s worth over $485 !! Lol…WTF??! can’t believe the bay sometimes…
