Humidity, from what I hear, is the thing than can damage a mask. I don’t think you have to worry too much about the temp. Just keep it out of extreme temperatures (really hot or really cold). Also make sure you use corn starch on them after you wear them. Keeping your mask out of humid environments and using cornstarch on the inside of them after they are worn should pretty much ensure that the mask outlives you.
Hope this helps.
WOW! THANKS MAN, WILL DO THAT , THANKS FOR THE HELP!!
Keep them clean also…Dust is a great enemy to myers mask…Since you cant keep them behind glass just keep them on stands stuffed, out of direct sunlight, and dust free…Keep them in cool dry places where there is no moisture and humidity…To keep the outside clean I just use a feather duster or something to that nature…If they get too dusty you can always use a Damp(Very damp) cloth or paper towel to wipe it down…Im not a huge fan of that since its moisture going onto the mask, but if you do it just wipe it down with a dry paper towel when your done to ensure its 100% dry…You shouldnt have to do that as long as you keep it dusted well…Out in the open I dust mine once or twice a week just to be extra safe but once should be fine…If you dont mind it some people even put bags over the mask while they are on stands to make sure they dont aquire any dust…Dust can settle in a mask, drying up the latex and ruin the paint…Ive experienced this first hand and it sucks…Ive also experienced melting so extreme heat can possibly melt a mask and it can definately distort them…Ive had it all happen at some point or another through out the years …Oxidation, melting, dust issues, just about everything…The worse is oxidation because once a mask oxidates there is no turning back and its only a matter of time before it really starts breaking down…But as long as you do those simple things bro the mask will last forever just Like my man DC said…Later bud
You can get a case from Harriet Carter for about 20 bucks, I got some about a year or so ago and the few people that have followed seem to be happy with them, the qualiy isnt that great, but they keep the dust off nicely. I got the 18 1/2" ones. I hope that helps…

The Myers & Leatherface cases are 11 X 11 x 18 1/2 and the Freddy case is 15 X 15 X 21
I got 6 of em myself. Worth the $20 a piece. Keeps the dust off em nicely
Yeah I also have these same cases from Harriet Carter. I first learned of these after I saw JackCapers collection. They are very nice looking and get the job done, although not made of the best quality. Definitely worth the $18 a case.
make sure you keep it away from heat. when i was like 11 back in 05 got my 1st dp myers mask. after Halloween i didnt want to put it in the attic in case i needed acess to it. so i put it in the cabinet that my tv sat on with a bunch of other crap. couple months late, melted into all my stuff
Where did you get those glass display boxes.
