Afternoon everyone. I thought I’d bring this to people who are better versed in those kinds of arts that they’d be able to help me. Long story short, I received a Night Owl Creep in December. I’ve shown a few pictures. But, there’s an issue. The mask has a tear on the back end. A fairly substantial one.
This here is the tear in question. I would stretch to show another angle, but I’d rather not damage more than it already is. I’d like some advice on how to fix this tear. What I’d need and how I’d do it.
You can make a patch by cutting a square of some nylon mesh, like pantyhose material and dipping it in mask latex and repairing the inside of the mask. The mesh adds reinforcement and the latex will bond to the mask.
Would Rubber Cement also work? Or does it explicitly have to be liquid latex? Further, where would I get Liquid Latex at?
You can get liquid latex on amazon for 12 bucks.
