damn it i once again thought I was going to post this in general…oh well.
i think the best one is the original, but RZ mask is in a close second. he brought the character back to the mask. directors before this just threw any old white mask that did not even look like the original and thought well who cares it is just a mask. lol that halloween 5 mask looks like total shit. dont even get me started on the ressurrection mask.
Agreed, I think the directors from 4-8 really didnt realize just how much the right mask helped the films…part 4 i hate, part 5 i hate, part 6 is okay but the guy playing Michael was fat and stiff and his jumpsuit barely fit, I know he played in 4, but i thought he was weak there too. Part 7, well they had way too mant, the Resurrection mask was pretty lame too…
I hate hate hate hate hate hate the part 4 mask! Five’s mask is better then 4 and I like the 6 mask alot. H20’s hero mask is cool and Reserrection’s mask was cool to me at firs but it began to bother me over time. The original and Zombies masks are the best in the series.
i do think the original look is the best (thats obviously because of the Hero mask) but RZ michael is 2nd runner up for sure.
and just one example of how bad the sequels suck, i laugh everytime i see this, but i love to make fun of it. in H5 michael walked around most of the time holding his knife about shoulder level 
just look at how stupid that looks. you figure the director at some point wouldve mentioned to the non-actor to not hold the knife like hes constantly in the process of stabbing but his arm is locked up. just look at how stupid this is 
God the sequels F**king suck!!!

I love the H1 and H2 look and after that its the RZ mask. The resurrection mask looks like it was cast off some shaved ape or dopey looking guy…ugh.
BTW the H2 pic totally screams LUNATIC!

LOL a shaved ape…I kinda see what your saying. H5 and the resurrection mask do such for sure. Like someone said earlier i liked the H8 mask at first but now i’m liking it less and less. I like the H6 and H20. But the H1 mask and H2 are the best no doubt about it…and Rob’s follow right behind them, unlike the resurrection, robs H1 and H2 are growing on me fast.
I once heard the H6 mask was sculpted to resemble all of the masks over the years. Almost like a combination of the masks all rotted and deformed. Prolly just bs, but it’s a cool way to look at it.
My favorite is The original and Rob Zombies version 1 & 2!
Why they did not keep using a Kirk based mask is dumb!
Atleast Friday the 13th did it right and did not change it EVERY
movie except Jason X and that was still a lot closer than MOST
of the Myers mask’s!
