Mistaken facts about Cinema Secrets H8 Masks.

As some of you know when Cinema Secrets Released it’s line of H8 masks,it had different variations to them.

  1. Classic = Very Cheap and mass produced. from $10-20 LM101
  2. Economy = Also Mass produced from $25-40 LM102
  3. Deluxe = Mass produced with a Great Movie mask Detail from $100-200 LM103
  4. Collectors Edition ‘’‘1 of 1000’‘’ only 1000 made ‘’ LM105 Has a COA’’ Full Detail and NO HUMAN HAIR. From $250-400
  5. Limited Edition ‘’‘’‘’ 1 of 15 ‘’’ made for the Movie but was never used… Full detail and realism shown… Price tag from $800-1800. Probably LM104 if someone who has a tagged 1 of 15 can show us…Than we will know…

If there is an Error i made, guys feel free to correct it…

Anyway my post is not about that , my post is about the Numbers on the Tags of the masks.

Everyone of you seen them and everyone of you think they belong to a Different version of the mask .

But if you put all the detail of the mask together and see the tag that is attached to the mask than you will say to yourself ‘’ Wait i thought this is Deluxe Version’‘’ so as i thought , but no… I have researched allot in these CS8 masks and found a few interesting things like for instance, we know that the only masks had the HUMAN hair were Collectors and 1 of 15, but as i found here is the OLD Ebay auction and the persons description and his mask picture made me think otherwise…

For instance some of you know that masks had tags like LM101, LM102,LM103,LM104,LM105.

Also as i read old posts you guys said that LM103 would be your Deluxe Version, but as we know Deluxe Version Had No Human Hair, but by looking on this pic It did…

and here is what the Persons Description is:

I have for sell Brand new never worn Authentic Michael Myers Cinema Secerets halloween mask from . The number on the mask is LM103 this is an awesome and hard to find mask.

Now if you look at this mask it looks very very detailed also look at the hair Line how circular it is,little to good to be a Deluxe HUH, i would say that LM103 could be also 1 of 1000 or even 1 of 15,or there might be an error as i have seen other LM103 masks that look like the Deluxe… So if you guys have any info or photos to compare lets really try and figure this out.

Allot of you might think that LM101 is 1 of 15 mask, or maybe LM105 is 1 of 15…

Also if you turn the mask around where his Earline is some masks have it all the way to the ears and some have it neatly trimmed . The ones that have neatly trimmed i realized are 1 of 1000 and 1 of15 thou 1 of 15 has allot more hair trimmed.

For instance here is my Deluxe look how long the Hair is to the end of the ear…

Now this is 1 of 15 or 1 of 1000 look at the Ear area how high the hair is…

Here is my 1 of 1000

Any solid evidence would be nice to have.

Wow man thanks for all the info. All of which I didn’t know. Hopefully others will give more details on this.

yes i hope so, if they even bother to read it…

Great thread and excellent info. Unfortunately I don;t know alot about all the diff. masks. The info you gave is alot more than I know, thanks for doing this.

no prob lets hope more people shine some light on this thread…

I think you are correct in questioning the info out there about what version is what. I myself have wondered time after time again.

I think some of the main problems are that some people just have no idea what mask they have and accidentally call their mask something that it’s not, and some people say their mask is something it’s not to try and make more money when they re-sell it thus deliberately misleading people because it benefits themselves. We all know that there are those out there that take the cheapest basic econo version, spruce them up and re-sell them claiming there are the more valuable versions.

It’s really too bad that none of the different versions came with stamps in the latex on the back of the neck distinguishing which was which.

Unfortunately I don’t think we are ever going to get a straight answer because it’s been so long since they’ve been available and I don’t know if anyone has actually either seen a picture of the full line up or seen the full line up in person other than Cinema Secrets.

I remember when the CS 8’s first came out. I ordered one right away and when it arrived, the hair was choppy and looked horrible. I sent it back with a letter that explained how unhappy I was. They sent a replacement with MUCH better hair work and even a better paintjob. It was one of the $40-$50 dollar versions originally, but I ended up getting a much better version I think. Worth more than I paid.

I still have it till this day, and other than some tiny rough areas from wearing it to a couple costumes parties when I first received it, it looks great.

do u you have pics of your mask ? , lets post pics, so we can all post our different CS masks and see the differences…Just Put down which mask you own, near your picture…

Here is my CS Collectors #196. LM105 on the tag. Non human hair, but well laid and trimmed by CS. Sorry for the cell phone pics, but I’m having some connection issues with the site.

Are the pulls for the Deluxe, Collectors and Limited versions the same thickness as the Economy version?

wow that is nice one you have there, thanks for sharing…so now we know that the Collectors go with LM105 tag. Thanks

NO , the Collectors and 1 of 15 are thicker…

Thanks Samhain6 for all the information you’ve compiled on this line of masks! Very interesting…and most of the questions you ask are ones I seek to get the answers to as well so I can’t help you but I hope you get the info you’re seeking!

also i just noticed someting about the 1 of 1000 mask , i just compared my mask and Samhain83 mask and there is a big difference , His Hair is better looking and also longer, so is his mask Color. What i think is the later or the bigger the number the worst it gets…My number being 681 and his 178…

i also noticed that the COA’s on the 1 of 1000 masks are different, the early run COA’S of #100-200 were more art-full than later Runs…of #200 and up…

Only one correction. None of the 1,000 limited editions had human hair, only the 1 of 15 and a few that were made for executives of Cinema Secrets which were not numbered and came from the movie mold.

Chris

Thanks for the info… So now we know that only 1 of 15 had Human Hair…

if anyone who has a Tagged 1 of 15 can post a photo and let me know what Number it had than we will know what number 1 of 15 really is, since we know that LM101 is Classic
LM102 is Economy
LM103 is Deluxe
LM105 is 1 of 1000 Collectors
LM104 is PROBABLY 1 of 15… Help with this one please…

so hard finding these suckers!

After going through 2 CS H8 inc. a tagged LM, I realize that Duel Truck Driver’s former “Mr. Bean” CS Deluxe did it for me and IMO the most screen accurate
