The skull was a bit bigger than I thought it’d be, and it’s always been a toss up between the skull and the pumpkin for me. When I saw the size, I went with the pumpkin.
I can’t even get the pumpkin on but I suppose it’s a kids mask

Awesome score! I’m not sure if this has been answered anywhere already, but were the TOTS H3 masks original sculpts, or do they originate to the screen used masks in any way?
I’m not sure about the answer to that, but I know Don Post is under their banner now. The only thing is that the H3 masks were out before that happened though, so it may not have had anything to do with it. Don Post did one last run of those masks before they closed down shop, but they weren’t as good as their original runs of them.
Which of course would mean they are either original sculpts, or they derived them from the original masks in some fashion. They nailed it though if they are original sculpts, especially the skull, it’s spot on.
As for screen used, the Skull and the Witch were actual Don Post masks available to the public since before the movie was even a thing. Don Post created the Pumpkin specifically for the movie.

The pumpkin/witch was recasted off a SSN masks I was told.
The original Pumpkinhead mask was going to be released that year anyway 1982, so they included it in the Halloween III movie.
Yeah I wasn’t quite sure about the history on that pumpkin mask other than it didn’t become a thing until the movie came along. I was only 1 year old at the time so my memory is a little foggy

It’s definitely a great mask and set. Here’s my set, all set up from last year, complete with foam pumpkin (I put a strobe light inside of it so it flashes similarly to the tv ads, a nice effect). Looks like mine lacks black around the top lid cutout area. Might be the lighting in the pic, but now I’m wondering if I have some painting to do this year. lol, well I’ll find out in a week or two when I get everything back out again.

Interestingly, looking at pics from the movie and lobby cards, there are green, black, and brown looking tops.
