Mr. Sandman Is My Own Fan Film. Storyline is basically Michael Myers escapes jail in a different storyline and attacks Orlando Florida. Yes I know sounds strange but I think it’ll turn out pretty good. So I made a thread where I can hear your thoughts and suggestions on the project!

Should write up a script and post it, or even shoot some test footage to gain interest
Just make sure you nail the Shape’s look. For me, a lot of fan films definitely have potential and could be pretty good, but then their Myers is all goofy. As long as you nail that look I think you’ve got a good shot at making something we’ll enjoy. Also agree with Pilum, definitely should post a script and maybe some shots.

Doesn’t mean you need to cancel it. Film making is always a very long and difficult process, but it’s a very fun process. There’s no point in not at least attempting to film it.

You don’t seem to really have this planned out. You’re going to want to at least have a treatment and a storyboard. Then you can make a script. Make sure you’ve decided what you want to do before starting the project. Good luck man, hope it turns out.
I had a script. Just I don’t think it’ll translate well to film.
I agree man, you can always do reshoots if something does not work out or change the script. The first fan film does not have to be as good as an experienced director’s movie. It’s a fan film at the end of the day, and you don’t have a studio nagging on you regarding deadlines!
Best of luck bud, just have fun with it. I will say your change of heart from. Myers film to a TexasCS fan film is two different worlds. Especially with the decision being within 24 hrs of your original post. What kind of coffee you drinking?
