I have some good news for those who were interested in my work so far; I have bought an original 2001 Don Post Pig’s Head on a Stake, which from a business standpoint that I noticed with Don Post Studios at the time, would reuse pre-existing mask molds to make brand-new latex masks or decorations with differently-themed paint-work and hairstyles, but utilize the same molded sculpts, so what I plan to do is to use the Pig’s Head as an excellently-sourced model for photogrammetry (By taking pictures from every single angle of a model in open space, the modeler can open the pictures in a software program to reconstruct a 3D model using those pictures by marking and pinpointing every angle that would be what the 3D model would have when undergoing the digital modeling process, capturing every detail, depending on the quality of each image). Even though the latex is a bit warped and distorted in some areas from the foam–fill expansion, I can still attempt to un-warp it as a 3D model in Blender’s software, without damaging the actual foam-filled Pig’s Head, and in addition, I can also still utilize the reference pictures, which were kindly sent to me by SLisica08, to help restore the digital model to its former glory.
