My first attempt at customizing a mask

Hi there, new to this site, I got this TOTS H2 mask for a Halloween party this Saturday. I didn’t want to just rock it off the shelf, so this is my attempt at a rehaul without spending the rehaul money. Now don’t get me wrong, I know this is in NO WAY, a rehaul, but I think it came out decent, what do u all think, be gentle, I’m a rookie, lol

That is not a bad rehaul.

Thanks, I looked at a bunch of real rehauls and just winged it.

If you want to fix this hairline, get some liquid latex or tacky glue (dont use superglue) go over the indented hair , than flip the front hair over top of the glue , let dry then pull it back to its original position.

And for added detail there’s weathering that looks like a slanted T above the left eye. Just suggestions is all.

I don’t k ow that I am confident enough to put glue on this thing for the hair, I added a little more to the mask to and teased the air a bit and this is what I came up with, I know it’s not exact, but it’s just my first try at customizing so it isn’t so off the shelf.

Thanks, I’m pretty happy with it overall, it’s good enough for one Halloween party and to mess with trick or treaters this year

Agreed, 100%! It is about succeeding because they truly gave it a shot. So many others never even get started, giving up before they try!
