My first full Myer’s mask overhaul.

As a lot of you know I only ever stick to my typical weathering of outfits/props/replicas etc… Well I finally decided to try my hand at a full on complete Myers overhaul on a TOTs H6 except for the rehair. I base coated this mask and weathered it from the ground up and also removed the hair from around the ears.

I enjoyed every second of this process and bringing this thing closer to a Hero look and I am for the most part happy with my results.

-Thanks for looking, Kyle

Looks very good! The TOTS sculpts have so much potential, you just have to bring it out. The factory paint jobs are understandably not that great, and in my opinion, cheapen the look of the mask, but with a little work, they can look pretty darn movie accurate, just look at all the TOTS H18 rehauls. I don’t believe I’ve seen a TOTS H6 rehaul, but you’ve done a great job man. I’ve always heard people say the TOTS H6 is one of their better masks, but I always thought the paint was too blotchy, but you fixed that right up! Looks much better, and more movie accurate in my opinion

That looks incredible man! I figured you had the eye for weathering clothing and knives and was waiting to see you try your hand at a mask. This no longer looks mass-produced and you did a killer job on that paint brother

Excellent work sir ! Sam is right, the sculpts on the TOTS masks seem to be pretty good, you just have to put in a bit of work to bring out the best in them.

Thanks for the great comments guys I took my time and had a lot of fun with this. I am probably gonna tackle a TOTs hospital mask next.

Looks really good man! Seeing all these people trying their hand at masks is making me really want to do a mask myself.

Thanks man! Yeah give it a shot, just take your time and go section by section. You will find what works best for you because I have learned real quick that not all weathering techniques work real well from person to person it’s best to figure out what your comfortable with and what methods work best for you.
