My first Michael Myers Mask

I finally worked on/finished my very first Michael Myers Mask conversion…The Mask is a Don Post 2008 that I bought on eBay for a really low price and I’m really happy with the results…Thanks go out to Sandman1336, it was his mask conversion that gave me the idea and to Myers N San Diego and loomisproof78 for all the suggestions and advice! I went for a very subtle look, I hope you all enjoy (be nice haha…it’s my first try at this and the pics are from my camera on my phone which doesn’t show all the shading) Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated…I’m an action figure customizer and I’ve loved Masks my whole life, I’m trying to learn before I order my Mask making kits…

Did you add latex in the paint?

you should slice the mouth so you dont see the holes between the lips

Yeah I mixed the paint with latex…thank you though! Does it look like I didn’t??

Yeah good idea, I’m waiting for it to full dry so I can try it on and make sure it all looks right first, then I’ll cut open the mouth…

Your conversion kind of made it look a little like a St. Nick.

I’m pretty careful selecting the words I use…Conversion or converting is used in the Custom Action Figure world a lot and what I did here seemed to fit…pet peeves aside, I know this mask isn’t perfect but this is my first try at it and since I joined this site I’ve seen some amazing work that inspired me…I’m all down for grammer corrections and joking but since we don’t know each other yet I don’t want to take anything out of context…And thank you, I’m glad you liked it!! :smiley:

This is a St. Nick…BTW I’m NOT adding this pic to take away from your thread, I just wanted to show you what a St. Nick is since you said you’ve never seen one and I agree. Yours does have a St. Nick look to it now :smiley:

WOW thank you all SO much for you’re kind words…I’m going to order one or two more and instead of making subtle changes I think I’m going to make one totally dirty and beat up and the other one will be a total color change to be more screen accurate and repeat the steps I did I this one…any suggestions?
