Got this gorgeous piece yesterday.It still has the Lamson stamp visible on the blade,with the number 60766.The Lamson has a distinct regal quality about it,very high quality craftsmanship.I am really proud to own one.With that said,I think I have grown more fond of the Dexter’s.They have more of the “look” to me.I’ve included pics of all three of my knives,the Lamson and two Dexter’s.Let me know what you guys think.Thanks!!

Nice scores there myerstat. I purchased a real Lamson a few years back on ebay. Its overall length is 15.5". The handle is mint and still has all the white lettering in it. The blade was never used but has speckles of surface rust on it. Its not the biggest but its good enough for what i wanna do. ill try posting pics of it here in a bit.

I would love to own a real one.I know the dexters are pricey.Ive looked into buying a few of those.They always go a little out of my price range at the time.I know its been discussed several times but do you think it was a lamson or dexter that was used.I also heard that some deerfield (I think deerfield is the name) has knifes like these and then lamson bought out deerfield.
