Finally getting around to posting this one. I whipped this one up for my Halloween festivities, but just couldn’t bring myself to actually take it out that night. However, I did have a chance to enjoy it and get a ton of shots, so I wanted to share it with you guys. This paint is something quite a bit different than my normal… and I wanted to show it in bright outside lighting to get a real feel of things! I was actually shooting for the look of the paint and hair that you see on the foam head Hero pics… not exact of course, but hopefully similar. This one is now headed to it’s new home.
Now, for any of you that have been trying to reach me lately… I have been on the road a lot dealing with my Mom who is having health issues AGAIN! It’s easier to reach me by text so please keep that in mind. I hope everything will be back to normal by Monday, but I figured that I owed you guys at least a brief explanation.
Man I have been waiting on this. These pics really show that artistic ability. I absolutely love that paint style and that hair !! Great job James. Hope your mom is better soon
Paint came out real nice in this one James… You know how We love the versatility of these Shats…
Thanks for taking the time to post this one for us
I also would like to wish your Mom a speedy recovery
Take care brother
Prayed for your mom last night brother. Keep me updated on how everything goes.
Aww and there it is. My H2 grail I’ve been searching for a perfect H2 and I finally found one. This mask with my RareR, I’m done. Maybe a Second Stab and a DB2 in the future. But for now I’m good. Thanks brother James for giving me a chance to own such a fine piece. Your best work ever.
Man, that is one to be proud of. The paint and hair have a real authentic, vintage look that really sets this mask apart from others. I am amazed at how many different looks this mask can pull off. You sure did this one justice, James. I’d also like to wish your mom a speedy recovery. Hopefully we can talk soon brother. And a huge congratulations to Hugo, you sure did grab a sweet H2. Glad to hear you found your grail buddy.
That is one incredible piece JC! The shots are awesome! The kids look like they’re having just as much fun as you are You truly are THE MAN when it comes to this hobby, and we are lucky to have you Hope your mom gets better and everything health wise works out for her. Thanks for getting back to me on my nightmare mask, Thanks Don
Hey James, You never cease to amaze me. That is the most beautiful work of art that you have ever produced man! I’m sorry to hear that your mom isn’t well man. She will be in my prayers brother.
This is one of the most distinctly finished masks I have ever seen…period.Has nothing to do with it being a Shat,or a Warlock or a 75K.Of course,it helps greatly that the Shat is among the ultimate canvases but the real story here is that paint-up!!! Looks natural, like every bit of the colors belong exactly where they are,not like it was painted. This is currently easily the best Shat I have seen and I dig the interplay between the flesh and chalky white color.Just amazing.
These are the ones i like, the ones that really stand out. The best looking Shat iv’e ever seen. Hair length at the back, bang! Gaps in the front, bang! Naturally dirty looking & flesh looking naturally old, right on the money. I don’t think a paint up can look any more authentic. And it was posted on 11-15. Bingo bango!
