Thank you fellas!! I am a hardcore 1978 Halloween fan. I am trying to acquire the top 3 most screen accurate 78 mask I can find. I know I personally feel handiboy, nag, and the shat mask are the 3 most screen accurate 78 Myers mask to date. My goal is to own one of each. I went with handiboy first. The dead ringer!! I will receive it in a few months.
Who makes the Shat?

I believe nightowl production makes the shat you can get the shat which is a blank or a creep which is a finished Myers mask. Definitely top three screen accurate in my opinion.
For sure brother!! I will definitely be posting pictures of my dead ringer!! Nick does not get enough credit!! His attention to detail on every mask he makes is second to none!! I think his mask are probably the most screen accurate in my opinion!! Every detail down to the few hairs left on the sideburns like the movie 1978 mask. I requested very minimal and very light weathering overall on mine. I want that ghostly white look of the mask. I got about a 3 or 4 month wait until I get it but it is well worth it. I am telling you guys Nicks Mask deserve to be in the top 3 easy. You heard it hear first the Dead Ringer is a must have.
Yes this mask pictured is from sinister studios !! I was really surprised!! The mask was more accurate and amazing then I anticipated. Especially the eyes!! They are spot on from the movie.

I was actually in communications with Nick about a month ago. I was going to buy one of his big three, the Dead Ringer, the HalloweeN Man, or the Nichols Hardware Killer. I couldn’t decide so I said I’d revisit it for 2019. I am going to own one of them but as you said… the level of detail and hours put into each of his pieces is fantastic. It’s just hard to choose!
The Dead Ringer is what you want!! I spoke to Nick personally before I ordered mine from him. I told him I wanted to find the most screen accurate 1978 Myers mask and I believed his work was some of the best from my research. He I ask Nick which of his mask was the most screen accurate 1978 Myers mask in his opinion. He told me the Dead Ringer hands down was his most accurate mask no question. So I went with his advice, after all he would know better then anyone. He told me the Dead Ringer is what I want so that is what I ordered. Nick’s work is in my opinion more screen accurate then ANY other mask company or maker I have seen. He deserves to have his mask in the annual top ten no question. The guy is amazing. He has been super Professional and very nice to speak with throughout my process with him so far!! His communication is second to none. Super nice guy does not mind making altercations to his design if you ask. For example, I told him I wanted my dead ringer with hardly no weathering at all just the ghostly white look of the mask is what I was after for I believe it to be the look I was going for. He responded very quickly and told me “no problem!” Nick is a class act. His talent is some of the best I’ve ever seen. I plan on buying a nag 98 Proto, and a Creep as well but I went with the dead ringer first because my goal is to own the top three most screen accurate 1978 Myers mask. I feel handiboy,nag,and nightowl are the three most screen accurate period through my research. Nicks mask from handiboy honestly in my opinion and research are the most screen accurate out of the three companies I mentioned. So that’s why I went dead Ringer first. Nick’s mask are the most screen accurate hands down. His detail is better than nag and nightowl in my opinion. Granted I will be getting a Creep and nag 98 Proto as well but handiboy is more screen accurate. Nick assured me the Dead Ringer is his best mask and most screen accurate to the 1978 film.
