So lately after studying and asking around I have been working on my own Myers Hobo costume. So I thought I would show you what I have done so far.
Coveralls (I put to much work in this just to go and buy a new one).

I have been looking for the black jacket he wears over the flannel but no luck yet. I don’t want to get the Kenneth Cole unless I have to so if anyone knows where I can get a cheap one very similar please post for us all. Well enjoy guys.

how did you do the flannel bit…? i have one, but cant figure out how you get that outter hang look in the front and coming out the sleeves? if you could explain the whole flannel weathering process you did, in a PM maybe?.. iw ould be much obligied!
and as far as the jacket goes- check ebay with the name of the kenneth cole jacket or type in mens black wool jacket. i did this a while back and was actually watching a couple… but never did bid- and they ranged anywhere from $12-$25.
or if not method… keep checking your local thrift store if you have one. winter is coming and there is bound to be many showing up.

Thanks guys I have been spending lots of time on all the pieces of this costume. I want to weather the vest more like the movie one but thats all the marks I have seen on it so far since most of the pics are really low quality or to dark.

where did you get the hood you attached to the jacket?
I sewed it on man just bought a cheapo hoodie cut it off and sewed it to the inside bottom collar of the vest.
