My thoughts on Myers vs. Jason vs. Freddie.

A. *John Carpenter Myers vs Original Jason. (H1-H5) vs (FT13th 1-4) *

At first glance the average horror fan would say these guys are the same, but they aren’t at all. My man Myers is much sneakier and more intelligent than Jason, and that’s where he gets the edge. Myers is more of an ambush predator like a spider, whereas Vorhees is frontal assault kind of killer like an Attack dog. It would come down to who could hack who up the fastest. I think John Carpenter Myers would be able to sneak up on Jason and hack his head off, or chop off a limb, before Jason would see it coming. Also, Jason is essentially really just an undeveloped child under his mask, where as Myers is a mentally developed adult, though seriously disturbed and twisted. He would be smarter and able to trap Jason, or out-think him in a fight.

Myers would have a wider range of skills to evade detection, make chase, and escape. If Vorhees got in some good shots up close It would hurt Myers, but he wouldn’t be smart enough to figure out that it wouldn’t kill him. So if he went down first it would be to Myers advantage. He would get back up, know what he was dealing with, and deal with it accordingly.

I could see it happening if maybe Vorhees tried to go after Myers Sister/Cousin whatever at a lake retreat and he showed up to kill her first.

Myers by ambush

*Rob Zombie Myers vs Later movies Jason (FT13th 5+ and Myers reboots) *

I’m not so sure. RZ Myers is bigger, but being bigger isn’t always better in a fight. At this point Jason is basically an electrified Zombie and impossible to kill without burning him or completely destroying his body. Also, RZ Myers wouldn’t be as fast or agile. He isn’t as sneaky either and seems to be really slow. I would have to give Jason the slight edge here based on Durability, though again I don’t think Jason would figure out that Myers would stay dead either. Jason basically becomes this evil goo infested zombie that can’t die, where as Myers is supernaturally spurred on by his dead mother? (Or something). It would be a close and prolonged battle of two Rhinos locking horns.
Toss up. Slight nod to Jason

3. Freddie Vs Either.

Freddy is a punk. The Freddy vs Jason movie wasn’t that satisfying, but I don’t think you could work it out. Maybe Myers and Jason’s minds would be too twisted for Freddie to have any real advantage or hold over them, and if he used a trauma from their past it would just enrage them further. Based on the rules I see in the Freddie films, though I’m no expert, they would keep their durability in the dream world and hack him up, though Freddie would use the world to his advantage.

Also, their extreme psychosis could be used against Freddie the same way the Dream Warriors in 3 used their powers against him. It could be too much for Freddie to handle.

I don’t think Freddy would ultimately have any motivation to kill or attack either one, as he is interested on picking on children for whatever reason. Maybe if they were in his way and he wanted to kill their victim, I could see it.

In a straight up physical fight, Myers and Jason would hack him to pieces and outlast him. His little butter knives wouldn’t do nearly enough trauma or damage to slow either one down, and both guys would only need a few good shots to take him down for good.

Same as above, as I think both would beat Freddie

Plus, Freddy was able to retain a lot of his supernatural abilities when he was brought into the real world in F vs J. Was such B.S. That fight would’ve been over shortly after Jason got his hands on him at that point. Get Freddy in the real world and rightfully take away his immortal powers, he’s done in a fight with any other elite horror villain outside of Chucky or Leprechaun. One of those little guys he could kick a field goal with.

Voorhees vs. Myers has always been an intriguing matchup for me. Very similar styles and personalities (especially if we’re talking about zombie Jason). I agree the psychological edge would go to Michael, while Jason would have the edge in brute strength. Would be a very entertaining thing to see. They wanted to bring Michael into the fray at one point when talks were swirling about a FvsJ 2. Then, the remake era began…

I think it’s more interesting than Freddie vs Jason.

I like the character of Freddie as he gaves more thrilling and exciting.

I simply kept this extrema.

If we ever get another vs. movie I’d just assume they make a sequel to FvJ. It wasn’t a great movie, sure, but it worked well enough to have fun with it. These are the only two characters that I think can pull off a fun vs. movie. If you took the original too seriously then you did it wrong.

As much as I would watch a Myers Vs. Jason Vs. Freddy film, I really hope they don’t ever make it this.

The Halloween universe just doesn’t fit in with the other two imo. The Halloween universe and Michael, minus 6 to some extent, are fairly plausible. Yeah he gets shot many times, but he still feels human to me (Everybody can deal with more or less damage than the next person) which is what makes him so frightening. Both Freddy and Jason have supernatural goings on in their worlds, I feel bringing this to the Halloween franchise would detract from Michael’s character, and would take away a lot of his fear factor.

Putting my protests for the film to one side, I believe Jason would have the advantage over the other two. He is stronger than them and cannot be killed as he regenerates. Freddy has nothing special about him in the real world, and Michael although difficult to kill has not survived anything other humans have not… to date.

I agree with jarrett62960’s comment, I feel the next Vs film will be a sequel to FvJ and it will probably just be another fun film to just put on, watch, and not read too much into.

I don’t think referring it F13 2 - 4 Jason as a “frontal assault” attack dog is very fair - he had a very large number of kills in those movies from the shadows. Taking Crazy Ralph out from behind a tree, setting up the trap that snared Scott and picking him off, luring the dumb cop to his shack to take him out, holding down the fort in the barn at Higgins Haven to pick off anyone who entered, it goes on a little further after that too - for a “retard” Jason totally outsmarts a whole bunch of normals. Honestly, I don’t wanna take the cop-out route, but it all comes down to locale - in Jason’s woods, Michael’s a dead man, but in suburbia, Jason’s gonna be an over-aggressive fish out of water Michael can wait out and take out.

Yeah, in parts 2-4 Jason is pretty much a stealth master, like Rambo. In fact, in the early films, Myers and Jason are very similar in their MO, though Jason tends to dispatch his victims in a far more gory mannor.
