I only have 1 Myers mask right now, and like 20 something others around the house. 
I would just like to clear things up… I was never dissing Randy nor his collection. He’s got a hell of a collection. It may have come off prickish but that’s not what i meant at all.
Like i told him in a PM, im obsessed… we’re all obsessed w/ Myers or we wouldnt even be on this site.

It makes sense to me that “the myers mask” would be the focus of any horror collector that was a fan of the series. The amazing thing about the mask is how it constantly changed shape.
Each scene with Michael has its own unique shape and pose;phone seen, hall scene, needle neck scene,closet scene etc.
You start off the hobby with a mask. Then check the movie for accuracy. " Man that nails the hall scene!!!"…“Wish it looked like the closet scene” . So you look around and find your 2nd mask to nails that closet scene. So you buy that mask and realize…“wait wait wait…the mask from h1 is the same mask from h2???i gotta get that.”
By this point you realize. “Hmm… I spent 2 hours looking at screencaps today…” and “hmm I’ve spent 400.00 dollars on masks”.
Now you search out myers websites…THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO LIKE MIKE AS MUCH AS ME 
and find out people have myers masks that look great but don’t look a thing like yours.
you find out about lighting, its history, what materials were used for the 75 kirks, the cast,the locations, and even how to make your own mask start to finish.totally driven by this “white mask”
You get a full understanding and appreciation of the mask and film without even realizing it because of your deep interest.
Before you know it your house smells like latex, you look at yourself in the mirror and say ;in a muffled voice,"How long have I been wearing this "
…just makes sense to me.
Let me tell you something right now,man…that is poetry.That put a huge smile on my face and really summed up OUR love for this hobby.Man,you really hit a grand-slam on that one man.I applaud you 
My biggest reason for collecting myers masks is the love of the films…Huge Halloween fan…Ive mentioned on this board before that Ive been collecting myers masks for 4 years…I have two in the mail I waiting on right now!..the main reason ive picked up as many myers masks as i have over the others is the wide variety and talent of mask makers out there…Not only are there sooo many different takes on the original mask, you also have an unlimited number of interpretations on the different masks from all the films…Granted, None of my friends can tell the difference between a NAG H78 and my Cinema secrets economy mask…they know its from Halloween, but dont see a difference…not the way any of us would anyhow…and thats the point…The greatest part about any white mask, is when you come home from work and find that white USPS box at your door (or unfortunately on your counter cuz your wife got home before you and brought it in lol) and you cut it open and take out your latest piece and compare it to the others you have…nothing can top that my friends…Its a challenge, and a thrill to find a new piece for you collection!
Great point about your friends not seeing the difference.My wife supports me 1000%,but even she says “I don’t see the difference at this point”.NONSENSE
