I was wondering, what size coveralls do you think each actor who played Michael wore? Im pretty sure nick castle wore a size 40, and dick warlock probably a 38 or something, but what about every other actor? what do you guys think?
I think JJC wore a 46L or 48L from memory
Im next to JJC wearing a 42 long. Im 6’2”, 170 pounds. So he is likely same height, and closer to 190?

Wanted to update as I was wondering the same thing as I build an H1 and H2 life size; I am a tad above 5’11" and 160 lbs, thin and lean a lot like Nick. I wear a size 40R suit jacket and it fits how it is supposed to- with the shoulder seams right at the shoulder edge and the sleeves to almost the wrist bone nub/ball.
Obviously, this will vary by brand a bit, but I just got a 40 Short for H2 in Big Ben brand and a 42 Tall/Long Big Mac set for H1 and they both seem pretty close. I bought a 40R in Red Kap a few years ago, and it fits me well but a bit too well- seems tailored and I couldn’t wear much underneath them. And the regular is just a tad short in the crotch and the legs.
I think Dick Warlock had to have gotten “short” coveralls to get that much of a highwater look- a regular size would have fit his height more than fine without being short. And while he was stockier than Nick, he wasn’t a big or wide guy based on the pictures of him with Jamie Lee Curtis and others. Anything bigger than a 40 would look baggy, and a normal/regular length/inseam would not have had the high water look. Of course he could have gotten a regular pair hemmed, but then the crotch would sit low and throw off the balance.
I also think that he probably went to the store looking for coveralls similar to the ones from the first film, and someone likely told him to get some green Sears coveralls or something- I mean someone had to tell him what to get or he could have gotten some black ones with a corduroy collar or something else he thought looked cool if he had no instruction.
As for H1, the 42 Tall (32" inseam) fits me exactly like H1- shoulder seams fall just past my shoulders, and the sleeves and leg cuffs are an inch or two too long just like several scenes in the movie. A 40 would have fit Castle better, but it wouldn’t have looked baggy at all.
