Hey guys… I purchased a mannequin for a project and need a pair of BIG MAC coveralls. This will be for a LIFE SIZE BUST 1978 MICHAEL MYERS. My question is I don’t know what size to purchase. I measured UNDERNEATH the ARMPITS and ACROSS its CHEST and come up with 39.5 inches. I assume I should look for 40 to 42 size BIG MACS but I thought I should ask here first so I don’t accidentally buy the wrong size :laughing: Thank you in advance for the advice. Mike :drinkers:

Hey Mike, I always thought it went the persons waist (or in this case, the mannequins waist) + 10". For instance, if you have a 38" waist, you should get 48" coveralls. I believe height also comes into play, if you’re 5’10" or under regular length coveralls will fit fine length wise, but if you’re 5’11" or over, you’ll have to get Large/Tall, meaning 48 Regular, or 48 Large/Tall depending on your, or the mannequins height. I could be wrong, and I would wait to hear from a more knowledgeable person in this area before making any decisions. Hope this helps. …ANDY

You got it right bro, 40 to 42 is correct.

Depending on the height you will get a 40-42 Regular or a 40-42 Tall. The chest size is the key to the size you need, the only variable is the height.

This is an interesting mannequin guys. Its full size but from the THIGHS UP and NO ARMS. Here is a photo so you can see what I actually have. I will have to pin up the ARMS and LEGS of the COVERALLS and it will be sorta like a LIFE SIZE BUST. I just want to get the right size so the CHEST looks correct:

Thanks Andy… It seems to work out the same as measuring the CHEST. This mannequin has a 32" waist so in your assessment I should go with a 42R :smiley: Mike
