Myers HAIR Styling question H2

Hi all,

Just a quick Myers “hair” question- How do I get a Myers mask to have hair styled real stiff looking and matted at the back, that will hold its form…kind a like an H2/Warlock/American classic style. I am trying to do this to one of my masks at the moment. I will not do anything unless I’m sure- so far I have heard these methods below and wondered what some of you do:

1 - Wet the mask hair with spray, then use hairspray?
2- Use some powder non talc and mix it with some vaseline (petrolium Jelly) not too much, and work into the hair?
3- Just gel or wax of some kind?
4- Someone even said they used egg white mixed with water?!!!??? (er I’m so confused over this!)

I had a Warlock mask ago and the hair is quite stiff but looks excellent. Its still stiff after a year or so…thats the look I want. The hair type I think is camel/llama- I think…Thanks for looking - any help is much appreciated.

I don’t think it should be stiff, just matted, I’d have it re-haired with something that naturally does that, like crepe wool.

On mine I do the hairspray way.

I use Mohair if that info is needed.

Hi there,

Many thanks for that…cool. Have a great day

I don’t put anything on my Myers hair, I actually treat it with some goodies before I apply it and it mattes very nicely :smiling_imp: Gels, sprays and wetting it will make it look and FEEL really stiff. That’s probably NOT what you want on your 81 H2 hair. Camel hair doesn’t matte down very well from my experiences, although… I did wet and spray a SU2’s hair a couple weeks ago that had camel already applied and it worked great for H2. Not matted, just stuck down.

Seeing as this is a hair thread (Lol) Anyone know ways of making Mohair not smell like :butthead:

Hi guys, THANKS a lot for the comments. Everyone. James- cool stuff to know! Thanks
If it’s ThanksGiving then HAPPY THANKSGIVING from the UK
