for a while now ive been working on some custom blue prints of the Myers house, I think I’ve gotten them very very close recently. every detail i saw i was able to replicate in these blueprints (this is just the front of the house, it does not include the sides, or porch detail)

When designing my Myers house build with MiniFictionTown, he first built the design digitally to facilitate any alterations that would need to be made before we finalized the design. This is the final design we came out with using on screen and BTS footage. Hopefully it’s helpful to you. We both agreed that because the crew had to cut out a doorway for the steadycam ramp, that the original design was likely symmetrical.
Nice, wish I had these “before” I started modeling my Myers house lol…I got it kinda close but didn’t notice the rear deck extends the whole house, made mine only half a deck lol, it was so dark in the movie I couldn’t make out what was there, couldn’t find any reference pictures either, always wondered what was back there exactly… looking at it now it makes more sense to be the full width of the house lol…Now I have add that other side

There’s an old video of an interview that was done with Carpenter and Pleasance while they were shooting at the Myers house. Some of the B-roll from the interview shows them setting up for the interview, which takes place in the backyard. AFAIK, it’s the only time we get a decent look at the backyard of the Myers house.
