Been a while since I’ve been here, and it seems as though there’ve definitely been some changes while I was away (new/ upcoming artists, mask sales going strong again, etc). I’ve been thinking about getting a custom mask again but I’ve lost touch of what’s out there and what some of the sizes are. Might go straight H1 from the beginning, or get a blank pull/ Kirk and get it converted. I’ve seen a few of these “ID” masks popping up lately that look incredible, but I don’t know how they’re being ordered other than knowing the sculptor’s name.
If you could suggest, what do you think would be some options for a guy with a 22.5"-23" head? For reference, I tried on the TOTS H18 the other day and although the neck may be a little snug getting it over my head, the mask itself fits like a glove. Fitted but not tight. The older TOTS Halloween II mask you find at Spirit Halloween all the time was far too big on me. I also had a Nightowl Psycho back in the day, and that seemed to be a little big as well.
Any suggestions for the smaller head guys? Thanks!
I always bring up the Warped75 lol, it’s one of my favorite sculpts of all time. Using the shatner lifecast as a base it’s really accurate. It was made by Simon Edwards but I finished this one myself. It’s pretty tight man, around 23-23.5, I have a small head so this one was perfect man.
That’s a really nice looking sculpt/ mask, when did this one come out and who’s the maker? I think last time I was practically halfway active on the forum was back in 2015 or so. It’s been some time and I know I’ve missed a lot. I wasn’t even sure if we were allowed to buy/ sell privately sculpted masks yet or not.
It is sculpted and produced by Simon Edwards/Dark Labs Studios, and I just ordered a blank from him. I think it just came out this year actually. Mine was a 2021 blank.
Thanks man. I’ve seen a couple of really slick, new sculpts out there recently. This Warped75, someone just mentioned a mask called “The Jerk” which also looks great, and the ID, but I can’t seem to track down who is producing the ID, or if they still are. All I know is a name the name Somnambulist. I know JT originally designed The Jerk mask, but I can’t tell if that’s still in production either, or if it’s still being produced by the same person.
Any other, small mask suggestions? I appreciate the feedback so far!
Great masks, I believe James Mangrum who makes the ID is available on Facebook!??? And the Jerk is now produced by Rowland Kelly and they look fantastic man.

I can confirm that The Jerk is pretty small. I have one and I don’t think I could possibly wear it. To be fair, I don’t wear any of them so it’s all a guess.
