Wait, you got 2 I.D masks? Save some for the rest of us bro lol j/k. That looks spot on dude, I’d say Endgame might be an understatement. Amazing shots. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks brother. That is actually the Castro by NAG. I just couldn’t help but laugh and use his own BTS picture in comparison to the very sculpt he was trashing.

Ha! Yeah I traded off most of my collection for them but I feel I chose quality over quantity lol!

I think it may just be from the way nik stuffed the mask when he molded it but the castro seems a bit bloated imo. Also though it makes a very good phone scene to me

The ID is imo the greatest ā€œstretchā€ mask but I am fond of the RK75 stretch and ps78.
The castro looks a decent mask..if a little washed out in those shots
I appreciate all mask makers talent…why has it always got to be about sides. Its real stale.

Honestly not hating on the Castro at all it’s a good looking mask although I was very disappointed that it’s literally just a 98 proto with a sculpted in stretch when he made it originally sound like it was from a brand new 75 Kirk. Personally I think he has way too many masks in his catalog and I get everyone’s version of Michael Myers ā€œheroā€ look is different but what would be ideal so everyone has a 100% screen accurate masks is to simply cut the bullshit and sell what’s accurate. I don’t know about the guy personally and all but I’ve owned a couple of nag masks before and they are great masks but I’m tired of him releasing new masks unless it’s literally an original 75 Kirk he takes and molds that is the only way we will have a hero Myers. Not to mention this too but how do we know exactly this stretched in sculpt is accurate? Did he literally put a 98 proto on nick castle and mold it like that?

Did he even sculpt the stretch in? Or did he just stuff a proto and mold it? I am curious about that. Thought I heard it was stuffed and molded. Anyone know for sure?

To my knowledge the castro ( H1 stretch ) and the wizard ( H2 Stretch ) are both just 98 protos that were stuffed for the looks from the specific movies and molded like that.

I’ll have to wait until JC finishes it to know how good of a sculpt this may or may not be. The finish work on the copy here is not great.

My personal feelings on the artist aside, NAG has put out some much better looking masks in the past comparatively. The PS78 is leaps and bounds better than this. I assume this was NAG’s attempt at an every-scene type mask, like the ID, rather than a single scene mask, like the PS78. If that’s the case, It misses the mark for me.

I’m actually taken aback by how bloated it looks. This doesn’t clear the bar that NAG has set in the hobby, if I’m being honest. To me, it looks like a sculpt that is beneath the NAG brand.

Not all swings are home runs. In this case, based on these photos, it looks like a swing and a miss.

Again, JC can make a latex glove look like a million bucks, so I’m sure I’ll eat crow once he gets his hands on one.
