Can we consider this mask as a '78 screen accurate mask? I know it is based on the H4 cover; but the H4 cover is the H1 mask. I’ve had a ton of masks over the years and I love the Maniac but it has a bit too much detail and “evil” vibes to be 100% screen accurate. Saw this copy and really started believing the Cover mask should be in the discussion for top H1 replicas. I know everybody sees the Shape differently but I believe this is an awesome replica
Well since the H4 cover was based off the original Kirk, I’d say this nails it. I love the scuplt here! The hair and the paint as well are great. I love the rough look of that painted face as well.
Exactly my sentiments! I always hear MMK, 98 proto, 75k but never, or very rarely the Cover mask. I love the Maniac for what it is but this specific copy just nails that 1978 look for me!
Yeah, those just mentioned are all fantastic choices. But the Cover is underated. I’ve seen Scott Kennard’s and his was fantastic.

It’s a great mask! I’ve seen some where I feel the paint is too aggressive to be screen accurate as a whole, but from some angles this thing looks incredible!

Its only a concept mask, and in nowhere near the league of the NAG Cover, but im working on trying to convert one of my HTK blanks into an H4 cover mask variant.

Well although it’s still the original Kirk I consider it an H2 mask more than H1, since it was worn by DW.
To me, the NAG cover mask is the perfect embodiment of Michael Myers. It’s neither an H1 or H2, but a perfect mix of both and can pull off each very well. I always saw the cover mask as one of the most versatile Myers mask out there. One of my favorites for sure, it makes for a great H1 or H2.
